Royce Engstrom - "State of the Community" Open Meeting

I hope you don't get too upset when they dance around any questions.

"They?"

You really think Engen or Curtiss would be stupid enough to answer any questions about Pflugrad and/or O'Day's terminations? LMAO!

This. As long as they never bring it up, Pflu and O'Day won't be able to get anything.

Well looks like Im not going to be abe to make this due to work issues. :(

I hope some of you who are concerned with the "State of our Community" do go and make your voices heard however!

Having taken a vow of silence last March, RE will continue being as transparent as two feet of concrete should anybody expect any revelations beyond a few new discoveries in the chem lab and the latest Rhodes candidates. That's all we heard last summer when he led the UM alumni dog-and-pony show into Denver. Sensing that I might say something inflamatory in mixed company I kept my nose in another gin and tonic limiting myself to wishing Mrs E a pleasant stay in Denver. Somebody in the campus entourage wisely observed that watered down drinks aren't conducive to a loose tongue...

Your mama taught you right. :thumb:

What happened?

From the Missoulian:
"Though there were indications beforehand that some planned to hold Engstrom’s feet to the fire over the firings last year of athletic director Jim O’Day and football coach Robin Pflugrad and the related ongoing sexual assault trial of former Grizzly quarterback Jordan Johnson, those topics never surfaced."

In other words - All attendees at the event had been castrated like the rest of America. A politically correct bunch of pussies. (or dicks, because I don't want to display any kind of gender bias).

Maybe you should have attended so you could show us all how it's supposed to be done, tough guy.
Would have gladly if not for the 900 mile round trip. Now go put another tampon in sweetheart.

Exactly! Tokyo where were you? You were all ready to attend and ask the tough questions.

Gotta give Tokyo credit (I think it was tokyo), as he actually requested an interview with the pres. and asked him some tough questions (which were mostly dodged).

Well, you can have another shot at it this week end in Palm Springs. The annual meet and greet with the UM president and his staff is here. From the tone of their emails and snail mails, there doesn't seem to be much interest. I delete and throw my "invites" out...but, you can be there to be point guy..

It makes perfect sense to hold the meeting in Palm Springs and it makes perfect sense you have the moniker GrizLA. :flash:
