And no Noah Kaschmitter DL recruit from Idaho

You know something? I was Talking to a guy a month ago that knew the family. I told him that I was hoping he’d be the next Leighton Vander Esch. He said the family hopes so too and were excited for him to be a Griz.

I suppose it could be a mistake on the roster

Maybe a gray shirt like Hill and Grossman last year. Seems they never made those two official either.

From which high school do the most players hail?
Sentinel has 5 and another coming next year. Does that kind of blow anyone else’s mind?

Thought it's been brought up before . Hauck isn't eligible to wear #37.
Sure he is. He’s on the D and probably the most deserved via legacy and stats. Check his hometown as listed on the roster.
You’re not citing some rule book, you’re citing some old curmudgeon’s personal preference.

This. He lived in Missoula for most of his childhood. The only reason he wouldn't be able to wear it is if whomever is handing it down thinks someone else is more deserving.

I think Jesse Sim's #37 Jersey is too big for Robbie Hauck.

Looks like Robby's got a lot of work to do in the gym and in the kitchen if he wants that jersey, then.

Sigh. 95-man roster cuts. Ferguson is a versatile player. He was near the top in AA in points and yards receiving when he got injured 4 games into his senior year. A pretty agile 6-1, 234 pound punter that also played D end, LB, tight end (and kicks) is kind of a handy role player to have around. So who is the backup punter then?

#95 Fr Brian Buschini and #82 Fr Carver Gillman are both listed as K/P. Probably the other three K’s on the roster can punt too.

I know they are there but...untried true freshmen? I’d like a guy with a year of practices and weights who punted pretty darn well in the spring game. Besides, these frosh are redshirting no? And yes you are probably right that Purdy would probably step in in at this point.

Ferguson and Adam Wilson split time at Punter during spring my guess is that Wilson will be our punter also Ferguson could be added to the roster once the season starts. Buschini has a big leg also so he may get some reps.

Not saying anything bad about the kid but how’s his hangtime? Maybe these kids we haven’t seen yet are better. Bobby recruited all the Fr, redshirt or otherwise so I’d venture to say he has a good reason to keep who he’s kept and let go the others. I believe he’s still handling the ST duties also. I get wanting the hometown kid to make it though. I get excited anytime a Missoula kid makes any of the teams at the U.
