Root Sports

Griz til I die

So I just found out I have to attend a wedding in San Francisco on October 6th, which means I’m gonna miss the Portland State home game next year. I’m upset about it because I haven’t missed a home game in 3 years, but it’s the way it goes. Of course we don’t know the tv schedule yet, but I have the SWX and Pluto tv app, but my question is, if the game ends up on root sports, do they have a mobile app or a website I can stream the game on? Or do you guys know of any Griz bars in San Francisco that would have the game on?

Root is said to be launching a streaming option for Paid TV (Satellite and Cable) subscribers.

Also, if you have Dish, you can stream directly from your hopper to a mobile device or computer as long as your hopper is hooked up to the internet. I don’t know that Root will actually launch an app...

The Audience channel is Root sports on DirectTVNow - you could sign up for a 30-day trial.

These guys are correct. Plenty of streaming options available.

I have used the Dish streaming app, which is excellent. We should be hearing pretty quick if Root is supposed to launch a channel on SlingTV - this may be your best option if you do not have cable/satellite as you can pay month-to-month and pay only for the channels you want.

Plenty of time to plan ahead!

Please God, I hope ROOT Sports joins Sling TV!

Not sure a PSU/Montana game would be high on the Root priority list. 2017 combined 7-15, 5-11 in conf., likely a one-sided match in Missoula.

Biggest unknown in TV coverage is the Big Sky's partnership with Eleven Sports. Hopefully this last year's handful of games, wasn't a growing point for more coverage in the future(Charter Spectrum dropped the network mid season).
