My Dish channel guide just now changed. 426 (the old RSNW) has been removed with the linked message. It was actually an affiliate of Fox Sports regional networks. I now have RSNW as channel 412-16. Not sure why my guide is different number than those in Great Falls. So hopefully, Dish will continue to carry RSNW. Sorry if I caused any heart attacks, anxiety. Go Griz.

All good! Dish is notorious for removing channels. They lost HBO when the final season of Game of Thrones was coming on and that ticked off a lot of people.

It’s ironic that people get mad when fish or whoever can’t keep a channel because the owners demand way too much money. Then the same people get mad that their service costs too much 😂

True! However, Dish draws up the contract they work under and advertises to their customers, a price that the customer agrees too. When Dish or any TV service changes their programming, they don't include the customer in their decisions. We are just pawns in the big picture!

Well I live in Missoula & have Dish Network & Root Sports Northwest is still available as of now!

It's that time of year, isn't it? I've got Comcast cable in Colorado and AT&T Sports Rocky Mountain is still offered. I hope the Griz games make it to this channel. What's the story on Pluto this year?

Sac ST and Portland St on Pluto this year.

So how are the non-Root games streamed?

Sorry I misunderstood in a big way. I was just being stupid. Thanks for the info.

DirecTV carries all the Root stuff; I just watched Mariner game. But doesn't carry SWX from Billings.

Seriously I know Pluto does not pay the BS Conference But I'd rather see every game there then this mis mash of crapola...

For at least the last few years, the Audience channel would carry the Root Sports broadcast. Last year, I used Watch AT&T to get the Audience channel and was able to stream the Big Sky games I wanted to watch. I think they had most, if not all of them.

FWIW in today's Boulder Daily Camera there is a story that Altitude Sports (who typically carry 3 or 4 Griz games per season, but don't appear to have the USD game) is out of contract with Dish, DirectTV and Comcast as of later this week.

Griz have 6 games on Root Sports this year. Unfortunately, Root will not stream any games (contrary to what is being posted on gogriz.com). According to Root's website, the only way you can watch Root is by signing up with AT&T (formerly Direct TV). Dish used to carry Root, but now says Root is being unreasonable in its pricing and Dish no longer carries Root. And the message on Root's website is clear: there is no streaming of Root's games. You must watch it as part of AT&T cable or Direct TV satellite. Comments?

What a joke

Yeah...the Big Sky Confs bullshit relationship with ROOT is literally the only reason i have DirectTV and put up with the hellscape that is AT&T.

Also its not part of their normal package...you have to get a special sports package, which this year I will be receiving for free after 45mins of arguing with DirectTV after they secretly added NFL Sunday ticket to my monthly bill, until I noticed the price had risen.

Long story short...worst company EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

“Secretly” put it in the 3 invoices before hand reminding you to remove it before the season. Otherwise you would have a lawsuit

actually no they just added it to the bill, after I directly cancelled it last year. They charged us, and than had to credit us back.

Also it should be illegal to add shit to peoples contracts that they never ask for and just see if they catch it or not.

I think you can still stream via Direct TV now app and they play those games on the audience channel. That’s way it’s been the last two years.

Hey Dayday. Are you streaming on the Directv Now/ATT TV Now app? I checked the guide looking for the MSU/Texas Tech game on the Audience channel and its not listed. I'm wondering if Audience will still be broadcasting the Root Sports games this year. With 6 Griz games on Root this year, I'm really hoping that hasn't changed.

Does anyone know of any other streaming services that include Root Sports?

Cable cutting is tough on sports fans

Just noticed this on my DISH guide. No Altitude. Sucks. If DISH, DirecTV and Comcast don't have Altitude, who does?
