The problem with airing EWU games is that the cameras are positioned on the home side (west side) of the field, so when you watch the game, all you see is the east side bleachers, and those are pathetic....On top of that, its obviously better for TV when you have a stadium that holds 25k+ rather than 8k+...

EWU is doing what they can, 2nd fiddle or not, having a game on ESPN to start the season is a big deal for the program and the university. If NDSU and UM didn't want the game, EWU and SHSU will gladly take it. Things like this go a long way in recruiting....

It's unfortunate that EWU has that visiting bleacher eyesore to look at on TV... You guys gotta get that Gateway Project going!

Ya, we gotta do something on the visiting side. Not sure if we will secure the funding or not for the gateway, but something has to be done regardless....
