Correct. I just experienced this in the spring when I was trying to watch playoff games. I was subscribed to ESPN+ and I have dish but my dish subscription did not include ESPN at the time. I was not able to watch anything on ESPN 3.

I forgot to try on my toaster though. Obviously that was the way to go.

Do you get better reception if you have a 4-slice bagel capable toaster? Asking for a friend............

I'll let you know when I figure it out. So far all I've got are rumors and no actual proof.

Welp. Another season without out watching a game. Oh well. This has been hashed over and over but there are thousands of Griz fans that have cut the cord and don't want to pay for a streaming service. A simple account set up at Root or whoever, login, pay $10 watch the game. Done. As to the advertising dollars odds are pretty good most people watching via cable/satellite or streaming are not going to be buying their products because they live hundreds or thousands of miles away.

This concludes my once in a blue moon posting on this site.

So, $6.99 a month for ESPN+ is too much?

I cut the cord 7 years ago.

Not sure if octiparan's post was an attempt at humor or not but this situation

is basically what's been worked out.

One place/account login (ESPN+) to watch the majority of the regular season ($21 for the entire 9 Griz football games on ESPN+).

Cord-cutters only miss out on the Washington and Eastern Washington game with this package. I'm pretty thrilled being streaming only, myself. Comparatively, I spent $12.50 the other night just for the Creighton-Griz soccer game on FloSports. The only thing I wish could at least be offered, would be the ability to get the EWU ESPNU game if you don't have a TV package (like through an additional premium upgrade or pay-per-view fee). I'm hopeful the playoffs will also continue to be available to the streamers-only audience and the 2021 spring season was just a rarity because of COVID.

Oh God, YES! I’m tired of these profiteers taking advantage of us working people.

And what’s this bullshit about having to keep my eyes open to watch a game? It’s 2021, can’t they just beam a telecast into my brain? I’m sure ESPN
Would charge you like $9.99 for that.

So, Fubo or Sling is the best way to watch UDub game? And ESPN+ for all the others?
I got Rokus :D

I think that takes upgrading your tin hat to Heavy Duty Reynolds Wrap instead of the regular strength Great Value! I know it has made a big difference for me!

With Fubo, you can do a 7 day free trial and add the Pac 12 networks for a month for $10.99, so you'll pay that no matter what.

With Sling, I don't see a trial, but I have been with them recently, so it might "know" my computer. The add on is the same price for Pac 12 Networks.

For all the other games that are Root, ESPN+ is the way to go, at $6.99 a month.

Sling offers an intro deal of $10 for the first month for either the orange or blue package, or $20 for both.
