Roll Call - Portland State Game

I have been waiting for this game for five long years. Myself and as he mentioned above MrTPee and two friends are hitting the road Thursday. :thumb:

I will be there with six other Griz fans. If she arrives in time, my new Ukrainian mail-order bride will be joining us. I paid extra for expedited shipping but who knows?
Tell her to bring her mom... :flash:

Be down there with a fellow Griz from Greater Seattle and hooking up with three other Griz cronies from Portlandia.

Where are Griz fans sitting? Is there a specific section I should buy tickets in?

Ninja...I just spoke with the PSU Ticket Office at (503) 725-3307 and got seven tickets. I was told the Montana sections are 121, 122, and 221. 121 and 122 are reserved seats going for $34 each and 221 is general admission going for $24 each. Tickets were available in all three sections. Covered seats were also available in all three sections. Good luck and GO GRIZ!

Lot's of tickets are still available. Must be because of Halloween.

I've got mine. You?

First time for the Griz in the new stadium, Providence Park.

Whose going?

Their "new" stadium" is the ancient Multnomah Stadium that has gone through more face lifts than Phyllis Diller. Once upon a time the Ducks and Beavers played a few games there.

Its a nice facility. Probably the second best in the BSC -- and you can buy beer in the stadium. Be warned that last time the Griz played there the concessions ran out of beer! I think they have learned a lot since then though.

EDIT: They are forecasting 1.4" of rain. Much of the stadium is covered and I would advise looking for tickets high up to ensure you stay dry.

Note that 121 and 122 are 5-yard line to end zone tickets. There are going to be many Griz fans sitting in 117, 118, 119, and 120 also. Pick the seats you want on that side of the stadium (bottom of the picture) and there will be plenty of Griz fans around you.

The lower parts of the 100s are uncovered or at least will get wet if the wind blows much. The 200s are all well covered and are pretty good seats. Since they are general admission you'll want to get there early enough to get the best choices.
