Rohrbach a finalist for the Jerry Rice award

Rules question...if the ball is snapped over the punter's head and land's in the field of play, but then continues to roll into the endzone, can he still legally "kick" it out of the back of the endzone?

I have not found the rule but I think there is a new rule out this year that if the ball is "Kicked" out of the back of the end zone you draw a penalty plus the safety and they still get it back but I think they then have to move back closer to the end zone to punt it to the other team.
