Rob Ash Quote

"I'll throw out a prediction right now: somebody that has more than one loss is going to beat somebody that has one loss before the last three weeks of the season are over - MSU coach Rob Ash"

Does Ash foresee his cats starting their November crash?

Gee I am hoping the quote was taken out of context. It is hard to imagine a much more obtuse prediction. Here's mine: Some team will be another team who they could possibly lose to. I can't wait to see if that comes true and if it does you know I will be here beating my chest!

Pretty straight forward to me since a few of these teams play each other in the next few games, way to make nothing into something.

Burnt Ash is thinking about the sneaky ISU game coming up. Krammer, being the best Big Sky coach and his revenge for being fired by msu along with the fact Ash feels the famous melt down occurs during the latter portion of the season.

Burnt Ash and his quote is right on. He is very smart indeed.

ISU should be favored over MSU. Feature the MSU pass defense stopping the ISU O.....

Which brings up a great point about why UM is interested in hiring the Big Human. Do you realize how far the ISU program has come under Kramer? The first year we played ISU after he took over, I actually felt sorry for ISU because they were possibly the worst Big Sky team I had seen in years. They had no talent whatsoever. Now, a couple of years later, they are contending for the Big Sky title.

If Kramer can recruit quality players to Pocatello, with their pathetic dome, lack of tradition, lack of fan support, lack of administration support....... can you imagine the caliber of players he could recruit to us if he were head coach?

Yeah we all saw the quality players he recruited at MSU with his 40-43 record, his only good years the group he inherited from Hysell. More the amazing is how a joke turned to rumor an is now being treated as fact in regards to his impending hire here.

no way isu will be favored in this game. I'm not suggesting the cats will be favored by a lot, but we'll be favored.

cats pass defense is not good. Idaho states is dead last. we rush the ball for more yards, they pass for more yards. we both score the exact same. I can't think of a reason why Idaho state would be a favorite on the road.

maybe wagriz4life can humor us when the lines come out.

Personally I feel Ash knew he was saying the obvious, kind of like he was joking about it.

As for Kramer/Hysell, I have no idea what you are talking about tnt. Cats were 3-8 in Hysell's last year (1999) and 0-11 Kramer's first year, then 4-7 in 2001 or something like that. He inherited crap. His only losing seasons were with Hysell's recruits.

Kramer indeed was 0-11 his first year as he installed his new system. The next year he went 4-3 in the BSC and made it to the playoffs the next. Those were Hysells players. He never won an outright BSC or a single Playoff game with his own recruits not one.

Don't wet your panty liner dynamite man. Kramer is easily the best coach in the Big Sky. He has had sh*t facilities and programs in his previous stints, and he still found a way to give us fits when playing his teams. But we all know you'll jump on the bandwagon when he is named UM coach.
