Having been turned down twice by Montana, Pease could have the motivation that the kitties have long lacked....

Pease didn't even apply when Stitt was hired. The rumor is now he wants out of Washington to come back to montana with his montana native wife to raise his kids. If they get him or Jonathon Smith, look out. I think those two would be long shots but you never know. Any of those other guys would be OK but not the big fish that Smith or Pease would be. The MSU boosters would never allow Hauck to be hired, most of the bobcat faithful would disown the program.

Pease? Really? I dont see that happening.
Surprised me too, but supposedly he is very interested.

My hope is for Lubick, not sure we can get him though, the chance to get head coaching experience at an established program with few problems and good fan support is a good opportunity for one of these young guys.

I would bet on the idea that the next coach has not been discussed yet by the fans, that is the way it usually seems to go.

I think Lubick, Choate or Pease would be very good hires, I haven't seen Smith seriously discussed, he would be a great hire but I don't see it happening.

I have some reservations with both Wright and Cramsey but think they could be an improvement over the old staff.

Hauck is a non-starter as you said, supposedly he told some one he was interested, I think he must have been f***ing with whoever asked, probably laughed and called the guy a moron after answering the question. He is certainly qualified and a good coach but I just cant see a scenario where either Hauck or MSU would think it a good idea.

Hauck has already had one dead-end HC
job. Why would he want yet another?

I don't know why he applied for the job. One can only speculate.

That would not be good news for UM if state college hired Bobby Hauck.

I think it would be awesome if they hired him, and all the Cat fans who hate him would have to love him. It would be hilarious.

I hope they get a good coach, but it really doesn't matter. They are still second fiddle, and they know it. The Cats might win a one-off brawl once in a a while, but no coach is ever going to get that program to be a perennial top 10 team. Too much lil' bro mentality from top to bottom.

They are second fiddle, but not little brothers, cousins or friends. Nor will they ever be top ten in anything, however, Bobby is a good coach in all phases of the game and he would give us a run for the money recruiting as well.

Real, if Bobby truly is interested, he would be the best hire in the last 30 years for your school.
not a real high bar there, so I guess I might agree with that.

I don't think Cruzado would tolerate the off field antics though.

She seems like the biggest wet blanket since Adrian in the Rocky movies. Yuck.

I guess that is why you have another thread about cutting 200 jobs at the u
