Road win baby

With a freshman QB! That's impressive doesn't matter who you're playing. Everyone is good for the most part at this level.

We're watching a team grow on the fly. I admit I am not happy with the defense and the calls Semore makes often but even they came up big this game. It's a big road win and the team will learn from this and grow!

Here's to next week and go griz

This! I too am not thrilled with all aspects of the game, but ... a win on the road is worth celebrating.

Decided to put together a list of road wins in the Big Sky under Stitt to celebrate today's win and look back on Stitt's former wins, here is the extensive list:

2015

@UC Davis Conference Record 2-6 Overall Record 2-9
@Idaho State Conference Record 1-7 Overall Record 2-9
@Montana State Conference Record 3-5 Overall Record 5-6

2016
No away conference wins

2017
@Portland State Conference Record 0-2 Overall Record 0-4

And your point of the 2017 part? The Griz have only had ONE opportunity to win a conference road game so far this year and they did it. I agree, they sucked on the road in conference play in 2016, but, you can't really say s---t about them sucking on the road this year yet, since they are 1-0.

I didn't say any of that, I'll update this as the season progresses.

We've followed the Griz for about a quarter century (with many years as season ticket holders, even though we live in Idaho). Through all that time -- with different coaches -- we found that the Griz consistently do not play as well on the road as they do at home. Why is that such an issue for some people? Most teams have the same problem, some worse than others. That being the case, we are always happy for a win on the road.

I agree. What's the use of it?

I'll feel way better about this team if we get out of Pocatello with a W.

3-3 after next week, and there is literally almost no room for error after that.

Sorry you guys like to ignore reality, I don't see anything wrong with keeping a detailed account of the success/failures of our head coach. Keep living in your fantasy worlds.

There's nothing detailed about keeping track of a teams road record. Also, the fantasy world that I choose to live in is an awesome place.

Coming off yet another tragedy in America, a fantasy world is much better than the real world!!! We are living in such a F'd up society in these days.
