I think the best steak in Butte is the Rib eye at the Depot. You can smell that place from blocks away.
The best steak in SWMT is the tenderlion at Barkleys in canooch (i don't consider the oasis in SWMT).

The Depot in Butte???? Do you mean the Derby?

I think Barclays in Anaconda is overrated, as is Lydias in Butte.

I agree on Barclays. Ate at Lydias last night and the Derby the night before. Both were very good.

i went with ryland wickman's dad to a game at sac state, where we met bay area cat and his (then) girlfriend at the tailgate. it was... interesting.

A road trip to Sacramento from Montana could be very slow in November. Snow and ice over the Sierras could be interesting. Take chains. It can be done in about 16 hours of driving if roads are clear.

Pussy! A couple of years ago It took Booby Dildo and I 13 hours in a '74 beater Ford with dual tanks.
