Road to the 2025 Big Sky Championship

Celebrating a hit and getting ejected for targeting do not mean the hit to the head was intentional.

You literally said "Don't be surprised if you see them do that again this year with either Jensen or Ah Yat."
A hit like that and celebrating the hit is classless and is a good indication that it was an intentional dirty hit. You must not have played the game.

Tell me it's not a possibility. Those teams could be equal to or better than us. Then there are games like Weber state last year such as ND(non conference) .If you think we will win all you better thing again .
Apparently, you believe in participation trophies. Acting like all is lost before it has even begun is something I cannot comprehend. According to your analysis, you would prefer that we just cancel the program. There is no use to even try, so just action off all the equipment.
Were you may be looking for the Eastern forum and got on here by mistake?
I didn't say anything about winning a thing, but I certainly would never give up and I expect a win every time the team hits the field. In predicting games coached by Bobby Hauck at Montana, I am 138-41 and 90-21 in conference games. I even believed Montana was going to win against Washington.
If you want to jump off the band wagon, don't jump back on when the final score shows we beat the bobcats and won the Big Sky. Don't be a fair-weather fan, it just isn't flattering.
One last thing. It is entirely possible.

I would be very pleased if we win all but I am stating a reality that could happen. Participation trophies sounds more up your alley. I want the real deal. I am no fair weather fan. Hell, I even post at 20 below.

If I had your outlook, we'd still be playing in Dornblaser and appearing in the preseason polls of the 20 worst teams in America. I was a fan then, as now, listening to Grizzly Bill on the radio or going to games when they won 3 games all year, but still believing our team was going to win. Every game.
Back when Larry Donovan told us that if we built a stadium, we would be champions. If everyone shared your glass is half empty, let's quit attitude, true fans like me would still be in those old wooden bleachers expecting to win.
We don't win every time by far and the world doesn't end when that happens, but the reason WE ARE MONTANA is that we expect to win. Every game, not half of them!

You are on fire, Texas. Keep it up.

I base my post on the past few years, not what happened in the past that long ago. For several years now under Hauck 2.0 we have had our hopes swept away like the Blackfoot river during a high snow melt.

This is our disconnect.
I base my post on the fact I was born in 1963, but my loyalty to Grizzly Athletics goes retroactively back to 1897.
I believe in Bobby Hauck because when I hear him on radio or TV and when I run into him, he's the same guy I met in the fall 1981 when he told me he wanted to be a coach like his father.
In case you haven't checked, he's pretty good at it. He hasn't won a championship, but I dare say none of us here could achieve what he has.

I'm told, on good authority, that NAU will likely be good, maybe even very good. As has been noted, they have a very good QB. They have some good o-lineman who have been around a few years. The D was much better last year, than in the past. Maybe/probably this year too. The conference won't be as strong as in recent years. NAU has a good chance to make the playoffs.

Actually it's poor recruiting in the quarterback and o-line position that has caused our problems. So who's fault is that would you say?
