Based on the choke factor displayed by our Griz late this season, a long tourney run seems improbable.
I wouldn't count the Griz out yet just because of a bad loss at home in the last game of the season. After the last very disappointing loss (blowing the huge lead @Sac) the Griz won 5 in a row before having that winning streak come to an end @Weber in a very close hard fought game...then promptly destroyed #5 UND in the next game. Sure though I'd feel a hell of a lot more confident if the Griz had handled their business against UNC rather than what happened....

Anyway, every team in the Big Sky has shown to be very beatable this year (even by bad competition) and unfortunately even the bottom dwellers have shown they have the potential to beat a top seed team in a huge upset.
Here's a look at the top 6 teams going into the tournament and their last 4 games. Not really a dominant team in the bunch. Idaho and Weber both finished 3-1 but had some very close calls too. Idaho also had the benefit of playing 3 of their last 4 at home.

#1 Weber: 3-1 (2-0 at home and 1-1 on the road). Loss @ #3 Idaho, close win vs #6 EWU on the road and a close win vs #2 Montana at home, 8 point win vs #7 MSU at home.
#2 Montana: 2-2 (1-1 on the road, 1-1 at home). Close loss @ #1 Weber, 13 pt Win @ #4 Idaho State, 25 pt Win over #5 UND at home, close loss (but a bad loss) to #11 UNC at home.
#3 Idaho: 3-1 (3-0 at home 0-1 on the road). Close loss @ #12 Sac, Close wins vs #1 Weber and #6 EWU at home. 14 Point win vs #4 ISU at home.
#4 Idaho State: 2-2 (1-1 at home, 1-1 on the road). 13 point loss vs #2 Montana at home, Close win vs #7 MSU at home, Close win @ #6 EWU on the road, 14 point loss @ #3 Idaho on the road.
#5 North Dakota: 2-2 (2-0 at home, 0-2 on the road). Close win vs #8 PSU at home, 26pt Win vs #12 Sac at home, 25 pt Loss @ #2 Montana, close loss @ #7 MSU.
#6 Eastern Washington: 0-4 (0-2 at home, 0-2 on the road). 16 point loss @ #8 PSU, Close loss @ #3 Idaho, Closs loss to #4 ISU at home, close loss to #1 Weber at home.

Unfortunately (in my opinion) the side of the bracket the Griz are on is much tougher than the Weber side. Idaho is playing very well right now and EWU (even though they lost their last 4) is still very dangerous. Can't count a team out that has that much talent. I was hoping those two teams would be on Weber's side...
That said Idaho isn't unbeatable. They lost to Sac twice this year and dropped a game to NAU on the road.
It'll be an interesting tournament that's for sure. If I were betting money though I'd have the Griz in the championship game for sure. I'm sure DeCuire will have them ready to go against either the Cats or Sac, and I like our chances against EWU or Idaho (or NAU if NAU pulls off the huge upset of EWU tomorrow then by some miracle gets by Idaho too).
