RIP Andrew Harris

This is terribly sad and far too common. Thoughts and condolences to Andrew's family and friends. The "what ifs" following suicide will haunt loved ones forever. If nothing else, let this be a reminder to pay attention to the people in our lives. Don't hesitate to ask someone if they are thinking of suicide, if they are depressed or if they need help no matter how awkward the conversation. We all struggle sometimes.

So so so sad, and extend my condolences to the Harris family and friends for their loss.
I hope all of Griz athletics and students know that they can seek help and address the Stress, Pressure, Depression, CTE, Anxiety, etc.

RIP, many like GGNez have said it better than I, but please reach out to ones who seem alone or struggling.

agree but sometimes you don't really know what's in somebody's head..l talked with a kid a couple of
months ago on a jobsite he seemed stable and nice and respectful..he told me he wanted to try
something new and l encourage him to find his knitch in life...that night he blow out his brains..l
wish l knew where he was at..maybe the signs were there and we just don't see them..but yes
very haunting..very sad when you see this.

January, February and March are generally the 3 hardest hit months for suicide rates. If anyone is struggling especially this time of year, get help. People care if youre not here. Hell all of Griz nation cares if we have a fellow in need.

Just let someone know and start turning your life around today!

Suicide is usually a sign of a lack of hope. A feeling that there is no one to turn to.

It saddens me to see how many people did and do care and Andrew did not know.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, look for some help-- EVERYONE has people that care and love you.

Whatever the problem, things will get better....

Don't forget to Buddy Check.

It can't only be about asking for help. We need to watch out for each other. Keep any eye on your buddies. If someone goes quiet, you can reach out to help them. Don't wait for the call.

Sending prayers to all Griz Nation,To friends and Family. May God comfort all of you, I did not know this young man , it still leaves a hole in my heart for his family.
