Useless defensive package against the run!

I hope we switch to a different base package next year or we will continue to get owned by running teams.

Oh yeah. Four longest runs of the entire year came today against the Griz 3-3-5. Can’t win the Big Sky and can’t win a national championship with that defense. Better recruit some bigs or some drop downs. Between the Bobcat game and today - absolutely embarrassing.

Everyone else is from somewhere else. And there’s virtually no one from NoDak on Nodak’s offense or defense.

I feel like I jinxed this team and this defense. When we were 5-0 I came out and said “I was wrong about Baer and this defensive scheme. It’s the bomb and it’s the answer.” They proceeded to go 3-5 from that point forward, and looked very pedestrian in the process. Honestly any team with a pulse of a running game could defeat this defense….it JUST. DOESN’T. WORK. Period.

Hey dumb fu-k, the players go where the coaches tell them to go. You get it?!? And I wouldn’t necessarily call them NoDaks. Barely a NoDak on that roster.

To be fair Kansas State runs it too, and won a conference championship in a conference that is known for not playing any defense and having teams air it out to run up 50-60 points a game. Lol. Would love to see it for one season by a big 10 team. I’m sure they’d give up over 400 every single game.
