This game reminds me of some of an era gone by when the Griz would roll quality southern teams in WA-Griz. Cold weather and/or snow and those boys would not know what hit them. In particular, this game reminds me of a beat down of Georgia Southern in 1995. I believe it was in the teens or single digits and the score was 48-0. That was a great run at home in the playoffs...as was 96.

You mentioned 1996 - so now you've got me drinking vodka and reminiscing about the Cat-Griz game of 1997! I'm going to YouTube to find the video - I love the end of it when they show the fans and it pans to a kittie fan looking dejected and flipping the camera off

What's the name of the announcer during this game - played for the cats - always panning for the cats and annoying the shit out of me - didn't realize he's been doing it since way back then!

Pretty amazing, really, how EWU has run away with this game. We've seen Richmond before, and they are a good team. Don't know whether it was the travel, the puke turf, or what ... but they have not looked like the team we saw in the regular season, or even last week.

One QB appeared to be able to find his butt with both hands and then some. The other one, not @ all. Lack of quality QB play gets you beat.

southern boys played better in the cold against Montana last time....and it wasn't even loud.

True...out coached and outplayed in that one. The cold and (sometimes loud) does not guarantee a victory but in those some of those years things could really snowball (lol) on some opponents.

Also a game where the opponent was not affected was the 2007 Wofford Terriers. Real tough loss...thought the Griz had a shot at the Chipper that year.
