Good for him for finding a place to play. I hope he gets a nice round of applause by the Griz faithful. And then I hope he gains -24 yards on 12 carries and fumbles twice.

Very few will even connect that he was once a Griz.

Jeremy Calhoun, on the other hand....

I do feel slightly better about the group because of Knight and his Spring but I would have felt even better with a Calhoun or Green. I would have felt awesome if Greg Bell came. I still think we need to add one more juco or fbs transfer if possible.

He'll undoubtedly get a warm welcome from Griz Nation.

Running back is not a position of need for the Griz...

Really?.Other than Eastwood who had an o.k. season at best, who on Montana's roster has you convinced they can be a every down fcs running back.
The rest of the pack has minimal or no impact at this level. So to say there is no need at this position is a stretch for sure.
Do you see a 1,000 yard rb. On this team right now? I'm not sure I do, and in a 12 game schedule you have to average around 84 ypg. On the ground.

The Griz have backs that will do fine this season. With a solid offensive line, 84 yards a game would not be an issue. That is the real position of need.

There is zero evidence we will see improvement up front...none. If there is an issue running the ball...that will be the problem...again.
