one of the things i really didn't like about obama, and especially holder, is being brought back. i blame the republicans, as they didn't give us a candidate worthy of receiving my vote. or, more accurately, i blame the two party system, that gives the power to control our lives to two often fanatical groups, and stops level-headed people from running for office:

While Biden's new rules will be somewhat of a reversal, I doubt that they will be able to rid of all the new due process. Cases have been going in the due process direction.

Maybe schools should embrace the gender equity issue by eliminating "men's" and "women's" sports. Have one basketball team, one golf team, one tennis team etc, let people of all genders try out and the best people make the team.

the best people, or the best athletes? i prefer the latter, maybe with some exceptions :)

I'm pretty sure that you mean the best men. Because (biological) women will be hosed in this scenario.

You can thank that transgender bullshit for that outcome. The DSM IV had it right, it's a mental problem. 8-)

Virtually every legal case on this subject in the past multiple years.

It's great that they are winning these cases, but what about all the other cases where the guy (or gal) can't afford or doesn't have access to counsel to dispute these kangaroo courts? I believe the head of the group at D of Ed that pushed this crap (Lhamon is the name IIRC) is now in a higher level position at D of Justice. This is going to get far worse I'm guessing, I hope I'm wrong but "woke" is out of control.

Jordan Johnson was put through hell for a long time by this kinda shit. Money saved him, don't know how much but I bet it was plenty. Jury took 45 minutes to acquit him.

We know his parents had to mortgage their home in Eugene to support his legal defense. As I recall they sued the University in an attempt to recover these costs. Does anyone know how that turned out?

Yep - $245K if this article is correct:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ersitys-unfair-and-biased-rape-investigation/

Blurb from article:
...Johnson was acquitted in March of 2013. He promptly sued the university.

And on Tuesday, four years after the alleged rape took place, it was announced that the ex-quarterback would receive $245,000 over the expulsion.

“Any student accused of wrongdoing deserves a fair and impartial hearing of the facts of his or her case,” Johnson said in the statement, according to the Associated Press. “Officials at the University of Montana — people who were in positions of great power — were unfair and biased. Their misconduct made my family and me suffer unnecessarily, both emotionally and financially.”

This is what's so insidious about the whole fiasco. Fortunately his parents were able to afford his defense, many out there lack the resources to do so. And the evil bastards implementing these policies know it, what's a few thousand ruined lives and reputations when they can get up on a dais and proclaim their virtue. It infuriates me every time I think about crap like this.
