Agreed, I’m sticking with 7-4. the blatant inability to run the ball whatsoever outside of our quarterback is going to catch up to us, guaranteed. Our staff will barely entertain running the ball now because our offensive line is not getting any push whatsoever

If we end up going 3-0 in non conference play I thing we will go 6-2 or 5-3 in Conference play which gives the Griz an 9-2 or 8-3 season. No way do we go 4-4 in Conference play. Winning this weekend gives the Griz a sure ticket to the playoffs.

The only thing that scares me is the similarity to the previous 3 seasons, at this point. We looked good in the first few games of the last three seasons, but we all know how those seasons ended. I hope the new coaching staff can get this team to continue to improve throughout the season. 7-4, I believe.

Don't be so sure. This weekend I think we should know where this team really stands for the rest of the season barring future injuries.

If the Oline doesn't block, the running game could be an issue. If the Oline does block, the running game (and passing game) could be good. Injuries could play a factor. My personal view is that we will have to win the turnover battle and execute on offense, defense, and special teams.

Well, I'd have to say based on our road history lately the WIU, CP, and SUU games are in doubt, plus Davis looks somewhat legit, we still have to prove we can beat somebody with a pulse on the road because it really hasn't happened since Northern Iowa 2 years ago today.

Beating WIU on the road would be huge.
