If the defense can come out of the tunnel and play with some intensity and iron out some secondary issues Montana will have a good shot. Losing Phillips is huge and I hope it serves as a rallying call for the rest of the team.
I like our chances at home but we have to play our best. No turnovers, dropped passes, or ill timed penalties.
My only hope is the stadium is rockin. Does the 12th man still exist?
Go Griz!

We haven't played a game yet that gives s much of a measuring stick on how good we will be. There are a lot of things that are still going to need to be proven. Can the OL maintain their good play against BSC DLs? Can we get a good consistent pass rush with 4 or 5? Can our freshman QB get the ball to our playmakers against BSC competition? Can Sandry and Strong stay healthy? Can our ST unit play at a high level?
Much of the Big Sky has a lot of questions as well... No team should have any excuses. They will either step up and take the league over and overcome adversity or not... Big Sky will be very interesting and exciting to watch this year.

I am confident, the GRIZ OL will do just fine against the BSC DL's. The GRIZ will not face a better DL this year, or the near future, than Washington's front line. The OL played well against them, and have played terrific every game. I don't see how BSC DL's can do better than Washington did. QB pressure will have to come from sending extra guys on blitz packages, stunts, and delays. How are some still doubting this year's GRIZ OL?
