I have been very consistent in my opinion. I think if they are found guilty that they should be terminated. Suspended in the interim. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances that feel the same.
Are you and your many friends and acquaintances going to demand all wins be vacated if these chumps are found guilty after the season is over?

If the DC were a player and simply charged with his 3rd dui, he would be ineligible according to the school’s own written policy.
Your fan base needs to wake up.

is there a ncaa rule that says a coach can't have a dui or 2 or 3? serious question. I know they govern student athletes but I for the life of me can not find anything about coaches and dui's, I would think msu's legal and athletic department would be up on the rules but never know. . I know several coaches have been arrested and several have not lost their jobs or had to forfeit games. mark few comes to mind.

dang typing at the same time lol..coaches are not students tho and I can not find anything addressing ncaa and coaches getting dui's

No. How a school handle these employee situations is their prerogative We may disagree, but we do not have all the facts other than what has been in the news, which has been minimal. It does not have anything to do with the players and playing the game.

Your coaches have nothing to do with the players and playing the game? That’s certainly a take.

Both of your coordinators are not legally allowed to drive, and the admin doesn’t give a baker’s fuck. They rewarded it. I know those facts.

When you get a DUI you can get an interim license to drive for work. I didn't say coaches have nothing to do with players or playing the game. A coach getting a dui shouldn't penalize players or vacate wins. Has that ever happened in college football?

Cool, so why were the criminal arrests rewarded? School policy? I know some schools treat criminal charges different ways. Most terminate or suspend. Some just ignore and say the dude is on a tight leash. We know MSU’s policy is to reward them with raises. Fuck yeah! It’s a joke of a program with joke leadership and you know it.

Can you give one example of a school giving a new contract and a raise to a coach with his third DUI charge pending?

CDA I have said all along I do not agree with the way it has been handled so far.

But, that wasn’t the question. This is:

“Can you give one example of a school giving a new contract and a raise to a coach with his third DUI charge pending?”

I think this is unprecedented in modern college sports. Maybe they will hang a NC banner for worst handling of a criminal situation ever.

They may have a valid reason why they did what they did. i like all of us do not know anything but what was in the newspaper. I am sure the details will come out eventually. My take is the handling of this is outside of the athletic department. In any event, like I said I do not agree with how it has been handled. And yes, I am miffed why he would get a raise. I do not know anything about contract renewals and how that works. I know some have lengthy notice requirements if they are going to non renew.

You seem cool. I'm not trying to attack you personally or anything. But speaking just within the logic of the conversation you are having, I would put forward that games have never been vacated due to multiple coaching staff DUIs because usually coaches are pushed to resign over that kind of stuff in the modern Era.

Now, I'm not saying they should be vacated. I think vacating wins is the stupidest thing in NCAA sports, and that is saying something. But it is a bit hard to square saying "they shouldn't vacate wins for this because teams never vacate wins for stuff like this." The truth is, this sort of thing has never been acceptable for any other coaching staff in the modern era, to my knowledge.

Again, no hate to you as a person brother. Just commenting on the logic within what is being said. This whole thing has gotten really, really weird.

Yep, there is a lot more to this situation than has been reported. All of the information and details will come out eventually. When that happens, a bunch of you are going to feel dumb about how much of your life you spent obsessing over the Bobcat program.

Cue the posts about me obsessing about the griz and posting here in 3....2....1....
