Bear Spray, you have some good ideas. As for Vigen, well, that's his name. I'm not in eGriz mode all the time.

I do my best & will have to give you more grace. On another note, I'm not a fan of Ryan Leaf, even back in the day I thought he was over rated & spoiled.. He has a podcast out & it's worth a listen. He starts off describing high school & mentions a few names we all know, recruiting trips & how he became the D-bag he became. He owns it & doesn't make excuses. Listen to the first episode - it's only a half hour - www.podchaser.com/podcasts/bust-the-ryan-leaf-story-2147745 Was he a good choice to talk to the MSU team? I think so. Dennis Ericson (who he also mentions in the first episode) also addressed the team that week - success or failure is in your hands kind of a thing.

Honest question for cat fans:

How do you think msu's handling of this is playing out in recruiting? Do you think this story is not being told to parents in every living room around the country?

MSdUi has set the bar so low that even a snake would have to go OVER it. Waded is the Head Snake.

Precedent being set, whats good for the goose is good for the gander. "Get out of Jail Free" cards to all of Bobby's staff, compliments of Waded!

And, a RAISE!

That's just the thing. Afraid of litigation, so they just keep people on no matter what. The irony is if anyone gets arrested and they fire them or suspend them without pay, they open themselves up to litigation. If an assistant golf coach gets arrested for a hit and run DUI, and MSU suspends or fires the coach, the coach could have a claim against the school for violating its own policy. It doesn't seem like they know what they've done via their inaction. They are so fucked.

But, they aren't win at all costs, no way.

Per the 406 Sports article on the OC’s DUI arrest following fleeing the scene:

“The university will follow its regular procedures for dealing with personnel matters and await the due-process of the court system.”

If true, that means they’ve established a policy to keep paying anyone employed by the university who gets arrested for anything until the matter is adjudicated. The above quote actually went out. They actually released that to the press. So stupid.

Stunning. This is a state, taxpayer-funded university.

Parents just have to be lining UP to send their sons and daughters there.

Every time I hear the song "drinking town with a football problem" I think of Bozeman. They should do a hype video featuring fans and coaches using that song.

Garza's court date is tomorrow! Can't say I'm feeling all that confident after nothing happened to Mix last week

Wonder if the Ryan Leaf motivational speech session will satisfy the requirement that coach 3-Peat “must complete chemical dependency education and/or treatment course before license will be re-instated”.

Wat? Another mid-week roadie to bozo?! Day trippin this time that’s for sure. I need to start a gofundme.
Hopefully, I can find that friendly homeless man again. I’ve been calling him my homey. If you see my homey, a disheveled, middle-aged man on 19th street wearing moon boots in 95-degree heat, please give him five bucks and a lift to the “Justice” center

Ya? You actually gonna give us a report this time, or is Victor Flores gonna have to save your ass again when you refuse to talk?

I heard that Garza is and has been in a course for quite sometime now since the incident. I also heard he is being monitored very closely. Do not know the details. Do not know if it is the same for Housewright.

Seems to all right thinkers that they should have been monitored closely by the State Unemployment Division.

My money is on the Prosecutor dropping everything in a plea deal, in the interest of justice. Garza will skate, celebrate, and get another DUI before dawn Thursday morning.

Not out of the realm of possibilites. Christ cured lepers and gave the blind 20/20 vision, so I suppose Ryan Leaf could do a little 'laying on of hands' to druggies and alchies, for the State, thus laying the legal foundation for declaring them 'treated' or even 'cured.' Maybe our lawyer posters could weigh-in on the latter.
