I agree with and feel the reporters pain, love, and also his objectivity to the entire situation.
Thanks for sharing this story.

Thanks for posting this article. It captures perfectly exactly how I feel about this whole mess. It get's right to the question of why this situation is "Griz Football problem". Mr. Ferguson should run this by the Missoulian for a place on the Opinion page.

That's an interesting and extremely relevant fact.

Why the Missoulian or the Kaimin can't seem to locate any actual "facts" to report is, in the sciences, what is known as "confirmation bias:" that which investigators do not care to see, they do not see.

To see alleged professional journalists so thoroughly corrupt their "reporting" by not actually reporting is, however, remarkable.

A demagogue with a typewriter is no different than a demagogue running for political office; a lynch mob caused by either one is still a lynch mob.

Great article.

Balanced, objctive, and professional. Better than the "Florio" the Missoulian prints as supposed news on UM Football on a daily basis.

Agreed. Very well written article with F-A-C-T-S. Basically says yes things suck now, but certainly not to the NY media/CNN garbage the team is getting.

The media, of which I’m a proud member, has, through rumor and misinformation, made the Grizzly football team the dark and sinister figure in this debacle when in fact, one Grizzly football has been charged with any type of a sex crime since Bobby Hauck took over for Joe Glenn in 2002.

That’s right, I’ll say it again. One Griz football player has been arrested or charged with a sex crime since Bobby Hauck took over for Joe Glenn in 2002.

That, ladies and gentleman is a fact that cannot be disputed.

This has been the sticking point with me from the beginning.

un-Florio-nated
Love the comment left under the article.
Thanks for an un-Florio-nated article!

Great journalism, better yet the part about Bobby Hauck. Take that Bobby bashers. :thumb:

Also, in regard to the one player actually charged with the crime, was the board sympathetic to Donaldson, his victim, or fairly objective about the facts of the case? Florio counted 37 bad words and used that as a pretext to drop the innuendo that the board was supportive of him and hostile to his alleged victim.
