Watching it tape delayed, but first play of his 2nd series he pushed the tackle 5 yards into the backfield on a running play and that blew up the play for a loss of 1.

Just saw this play. No doubt he caused that INT with his pass rush.

Oooof. Cowser just got fucking PANCAKED by the right tackle. About 8 yards up the field from the LOS.

Yep, he seemed to get things figured out at halftime and looked way better in the second half.

Yes, they did specify he was the conference POY, but never bothered to mention Holmes' national award. :roll:

He did win some DPOY awards for FCS....so they were technically correct

Kinda feel like these games are to give recognition to kids who had great years/careers. The coaches and scouts did their evals during the week of practice and the game is more for the kids to shine. They should have mentioned Holmes's National DPOY award. One of the announcers was quite negative during the EWS game as if he was make the decisions on these kids and even if he is he doesn't need to do it on national TV. Again this game should be as positive as possible for these players.
