Remaining Schedule

Looking at the remainder of the schedule, I just don't see us running the table like everyone else seems to be predicting. We have four consecutive away games where we will face the #2,3, and 4 teams in the conference. I see us losing at least one, probably two of these games as we scraped by them all at home. Weber has already played their toughest road games. It's going to be a hard fought battle to clinch home court for the conference tournament which is essential.

Not saying we will run the table, but I think you are putting a lot of stock in the early season slow start. We are a completely different team at this point than we were 2 months ago.

I know what your saying, no team is unbeatable.....with that said, this team is as unbeatable as we have seen in this conf since 1967-70. We have a great bunch of kids that have increadable desire to win and we see that game in and game out. I think the weber game makes everybody a little nervous as do most road games. I realize running the table is unlikely but if any team could pull it off, its this group of young men. The way Coleman is stepping up adn finding his spot on this team really helps our chances at the unthinkable, 20-0 conf season!

Your both right. I dont think anyone is saying we are going to run the table, but I think we all know that if we show up ready to play every game, we will run it with the talent we have. So really, alot of us HOPE we run the table? haha.

One reason i wouldnt ever doubt this group is focus. It seems to me like this team is increadably focused and play D with such intensity. I just dont see Will, the leader on the floor, letting this group of kids get complaicent. Now that doesnt mean every game is for sure a win, but i like our chances.

I'm actually not. I'm basing this off of the fact that we barely beat these teams at home over the course of the last month. I just think that eventually our lack of an inside game is going to get exposed, although who knows our guard play is quite exceptional.

I think we are starting to turn the corner now. Tonights game will be the telling one? If we win by 15 + on the road again thats a pretty strong sign we are much better now, and Cherry is starting to play his game again. Of course our size is a liability, but like Tinkle said "people are having to play smaller lineups to keep up with our lineup" GO Griz

It's a good sign if we're just starting to turn the corner on the back of an 11 game winning streak! :thumb:

How was the turn out? Their announcer said it was the biggest crowd of the year, as was the Portland game, so we must be getting a little following going on?? Great to hear!
