Not true. The Griz are one qb, Jordan Johnson, away from contending for the national championship. While I liked Pflu, as well as Delaney, I think the assistant coaches are as good or better this year than last year. Rosey is better than Smith. Smith/Pflu were pretty good together. Gregorak lacks DC experience, and surely is still learning, but he is and will be a terrific coach. Without JJ, UM was missing a terrific player and experience at this critical position. UM would have won all of the close games with JJ, including NAU, in my view. UM would have played with more confidence at the end of games. The ball would have bounced more towards the Griz, instead of away from them, without the multiple key mistakes and with the confidence JJ would have brought. UM leads the conference in total offense, and is 10th in the nation. Think what the offense would have done with JJ. No knock on McKinney or S-H, but they were rookies this year, just like JJ was when he came off redshirt and at the beginning of last year.

And for 29 of the last 30 years (the year you went 0-11 maybe not so much), bcn has had 99% of its posters stating as fact that the cats were going to beat the GRIZ during Brawl week.

Frankly, I think Griz fans have been far more temperate in their position and projections on this game than cat fans ever are, even in years the Griz were favored by considerably more than the cats are here (which, I probably don't need to remind you, is most years).
