Because most of you have developed amnesia as our program spiraled down the past few years, it bears reminding you that from 1995 until Hauck left, the Griz were ranked no lower than #5 pre-season, and in most years were ranked in the top 3. That is a run of 20+ years. Now, because of the dumbing-down within the Griz Nation, we get excited about a #16 pre-season ranking!

Most of you now have expectations equal to Cat fans.

..but, but, but we still lead the nation in attendance....and NDSU fans are fat.....and EWU fans do meth.....and we still curb stomp the pathetic program in Bozeman, so we are basically still on top, right?

Funny stuff, Raider. I hate to make it worse, but please remember also that the FCS was so much tougher in those years than it is today, yet we still were easily one of the elite programs every year.

2. You want a coach who comes from a defensive background.
3. You like traditional offenses that want to run-first and utilize tight ends and fullbacks.
