Referee question

Is there an FCS rule that says the Umpire that sets the ball has to wait for the other team to make their player changes before setting the ball and signaling ready for play? I felt like they were taking their sweet time an there were many times we were waiting to snap the ball and the Umpire was standing there looking at the USD sideline. It made me considerably more pissed when I watched the Oregon game and the Umpire was literally running to the ball setting it and running out of the way. Get out of the way so we can play the game we want to play.

If the offense substitutes a player then they must give the defense an opportunity to substitute also, Oregon doesn't substitute when they are rolling.

I noticed that as well. T Mac and Oiland were getting pissed at times. I think Delaney should bring it up if it happens during the ASU game.

Good point, I just want to see this offense do what it is really capable of. No need to sub every play if you ask me. If you didn't watch the Oregon game it was a clinic arse whippin. Seemed like they were averaging 14-18 seconds in between plays.

There were definitely times last week when we didn't substitute where the ref would just stand in front of Oiland doing nothing. Both players were visibly frustrated that he wouldn't let them hike the ball.

What, you actually expect BSC officials tp know the rules? You are setting the bar a little high don't you think?

Chances are with the warm temps on last Sat, the officiating crew was winded and needed the extra time to catch their breath!
