while other big sky schools make waves in recruiting, we don't. we had one early commit: bryden boehning, from lewistown. he's big, but not yet anything special. not a qvale or selvig, each of whom had offers from several big schools. boehning, at best, is a "project."

meanwhile, weber state has recruited a three-star big from colorado, zach braxton, and a point guard out of texas, jeremiah jefferson, who some scouts rank a "high major." this duo to go with joel bolomboy, a sophomore, and richard gittens, kyndahl hall and jeremy seglin, all freshmen. you've got to like what weber is building.

our bosom buddies to the east have been making a stir as well--at least, i think so. they've recruited gus nehme, a shooting guard out of colorado, who was the player of the game in a recent colorado all-star game, and who was actively recruited by wyoming, among other schools. they've also added two bigs from england, bradley fisher, a seven-foot, 245 pound center, and kavell bigby-williams, a 6'9" kid who drew some interest from davidson. don't know yet if it will pay off, but the bobs have developed an interesting pipeline, thanks go chris haslam, a brit assistant coach down there.

finally, carson shanks, a seven footer at utah state, will transfer to north dakota, while kj buford, a guard from iowa state, is transferring to northern arizona.

no question, montana has out-recuited the big sky over the past six or seven years, surely starting with qvale, selvig, cherry, jamar, ward. perhaps dunn, gfeller and breunig will continue that tradition. but with boehning a project, and breunig scoring one point--one point!!--in an entire season at washington, you have to wonder if we're keeping pace with the rest of the big sky, especially up front.

Your right! Tinkle obviously doesn't have a clue what he is doing. Can't recruit. Can't coach. The sky is falling! Two straight BSC Championships just were luck. Gosh, we better fire him right now!

I believe they had another couple guys lined up but lost them under Pharrell's hat

Citay, also for someone having so much knowledge...Bryden is from Glendive.
