board bored, yet the men's team is at a critical juncture here--three schollies open (almost 25% of the entire team), recruiting critical, late signing period starts tomorrow. if this were football, we'd be lit up with rumors, links, inside info, but basically the only info we get is from our friendly infidel, mslacat. a sign of just how far basketball has slipped at montana?
 
You will sign at least 1 JC swing player (most likely 2) you are looking at a handful of these players.

I have heard you maybe signing/getting a commitment from another Montana Kid.

The coaches were in Las Vegas this past week end scouting the AAU tourney down there for this years unsigned seniors as well as next years crop.

Signing starts, tomorrow (April 11th) most likely the top high school athletes will sign earlier. The JC kids are just starting to make there trips a week or so ago, so they tend stretch out until late April especially for kids who take all 5 visits.

What are you hearing/reading on the JC situation? I have heard of 2 possible transfers from D1 programs, but nothing concrete. Do you know who visited this weekend?

I had heard you folks were looking at Niel son, who transferred to Portland State, but as soon as I heard that it was published that he PSU got him. Transfers make a lot of sense, with all of the talented young players you have coming in it would be nice to get a player who has to sit out a year and then come in next year when ready when Strait etc. graduate and they are ready to contribute. It also solve the problem Tinkle seems to have with not enough minutes to please all of the players, this and, next year.

I really have not heard who was in this week end, there was a 6-4 High school guard you offered who committed elsewhere this week-end, and up to 6 or 7 Calif and Texas/Kansas JC 6-3 to 6-5 swing player who have been offered.
