edited and updated so it's more easy to see who we are recruiting broken down by position

Thank you NikeGrizz I appreciate your efforts very much.

I hope Nike doesn't piss off PaytonLives....
Ive avoided reading and commenting on this thread for that very reason. Nobody, and I mean nobody, can do justice to a recruiting thread like The Man, PaytonLives

Thanks for the compliment... I try to have an off season until the Griz get a verbal... I am pretty computer weary by signing day as it is.

Thanks NikeGrizz for getting this started.

How publicly gracious of you, PL. Nike, don't open that package that's coming in the mail.

Scout list of who we offered (outside of montana except Jesse sims): http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=11&cfg=null&yr=2015&pid=-1&sspid=-1&iRatingValue=-1&iGetJUCOFlag=-1&iCommitFlag=-1&iGroupbyPosition=0&toinid=781&iInterestLevelId=-1&iOffer=-1&iRecruitVisitFlag=-1&OrderbyColumn=RatingValue" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :thumb:

How did you refine your search to only offers by a particular school? I've been trying to figure this out for a while now.

Here is the entire URL:

http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=11&cfg=null&yr=2015&pid=-1&sspid=-1&iRatingValue=-1&iGetJUCOFlag=-1&iCommitFlag=-1&iGroupbyPosition=0&toinid=781&iInterestLevelId=-1&iOffer=-1&iRecruitVisitFlag=-1&OrderbyColumn=RatingValue#/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=11&cfg=null&yr=2015&pid=-1&sspid=-1&iRatingValue=-1&iGetJUCOFlag=-1&iCommitFlag=-1&iGroupbyPosition=0&toinid=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;781&iInterestLevelId=-1&iOffer=-1&iRecruitVisitFlag=-1&OrderbyColumn=RatingValue

Montana's team number ID is 781. All you need to do is use the entire URL, but replace the 791 with the applicable number of another school. For example, MSU is 782 and EWU is 779. It takes a bit of hunting to come up with other schools that you want to view. I have never been able to find NDSU's ID. Does anybody know it?

Nicely done! I had searched the URL, but I wasn't looking for a school ID. I was more looking for a school name. Thanks a ton!

Kyon Clark - 6'1" 320 DT (Rialto, CA)

Holy fire hydrants batman! There's serious beef right there. Maybe too much beef?

And yes we gotta have Daum. Fastest 100 in Mt. Last I saw he's no. 4 in the 200 but that is from 2013. Point is he is fast and obviously has great hands.

Daum won the 100 and 200 this May at the state meet, and posted the fastest times for the year in both events for all of the classes in Montana.

Surely hasn't ruled out being a Griz although Wyoming has been sniffing around and one of his Gramps lives in Seattle.....hrmmmmm. Good kid and best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

Jesse Sims Could Be The Fastest Big Man Out West
by Dirk Knudsen | Posted on Monday, April 21st, 2014

The common belief nowadays is that no one gets missed when it comes to football recruiting. With the proliferation of film, recruiting services, and social media there is an over abundance of information and not the opposite; which was the case just a few short years ago. Guys from small towns like Gooding, Idaho (Cole McGinnis- Weber State) and Coleton Collins of Lakeside in the Spokane Area (Idaho State) for instance can attend a showcase event like the NWELITESPORTS.com Camp and blast their way to the top.

Let’s be clear however. Guys in small towns may now be on the radar but they often do not enjoy the level of interest of their big city piers.

That is the case with one 2015 Tight End (H Back) & Defensive End from Stevensville, Montana in Western Montana. The town of 1,800 people is known as the first ever settlement in Montana (some 48 years before Statehood) and these past few years Stevensville High School has been home to 3 sport phenom Jesse Sims. We covered Jesse last season after he came out and stole the show as a 10th grader at the big camp we mentioned above. Shortly after getting a look at him Oregon State offered him.

Jesse Sims is 6’4″ – 238 lbs. He played football and was All State and All League and now holds 5 offers. He went from football to Basketball and now straight into track. Out there on that man made tartan oval he is proving why he should be one of hottest recruits in the entire West. Beyond schools like OSU, Montana, and Montana State he holds offers from Idaho and Colorado State. Our guess is when bigger Pac 12 schools get wind of this news he will gain their bids too.

“I have run an 11.4 second race in the 100 meters and a 23.8 second 200 meters. Both of those are personal records and I feel I can be even faster yet,” said Sims by phone this week.

Imagine a near 240 lb monster motoring down the track at an 11.4 second pace. Most linebacker and defenders at any level will not touch that.

Force = Mass X Acceleration

Like many of our big men he is fast but they are not that fast. The formula above tells the story of why he is so special. Once he has his hands on the football it is over. Jesse will rack up yards after catch and is for a threat to go all the way. He regularly drags opponents after mowing them down and he seems to have a real hunger to do just that.

“I will be at the camp again at Mercer Island and then probably on to the Nike NFTC Camp at Oregon. Right now I am hearing from a few more schools and just looking to get better this year. It’s going to be a good year,” added the calm and collected kid who always seems mature beyond his years.

Coaches watch his film. Catch him at Camps and get him to your events. This young man is special and will make someone look very smart before it is all over. Oregon State can take a kid like this and put him on that edge to block and catch and split him out as well. The Beavers offense is perhaps the perfect fit given their play book and his skills. They have proven time and again they make great use of kids in that role.

That is one option for Jesse although he says he has no insider favorites right now. Stay tuned for more on this Montana small town stud who is yet another gem in the Pacific Northwest football talent pool.

The NWEliteSports Camp (Former Gesser Camp) is right at the 30 College Mark in terms of the schools and coaches who will be in on this. Rated as the #1 Camp in the Region the camp is open for registration and if you are a serious recruit we hope to see you there! Jesse Sims will be there.

Daum and Sims have been varsity standouts in high school sports since thier freshman year. They have bigger schools looking at them...but I'm hoping they continue and improve Griz Nation pride!
