Rebuilding Year (That's OK)

This is not a rebuilding year, if it was, we would be improving as the season went on, not getting worse!
See, the thing is, the Griz are lucky to even be playing when they could have easily gotten the Penn State treatment this year thanks to Pflugrad being unable to control his players.

Its not a winning season the Griz and the University are worried about, its trying to restore integrity to the institution so the NCAA doesn't grant a death penalty, so that the Grizzlies can even continue to play.

And that's not counting there's bound to be a lawsuit that will cost this university millions of dollars.

what a door knob....Pflugrad unable to control his players. You mean the ONE that has been found guilty of something, who was kicked off the team the instant it was brought to light.

Bobby created this culture, Pflugrad took the fall from a dip shit trying to appease somebody for years of problems...

JJ will be found innocent.
The gang rape was found to not have warrant.
BD was guillty, but one player is not enough.
The big thing that got Phlu fired was the party scene was taking on too much of a life and the comment about JJ being a model citizen. Not enough in my book to fire a guy. The commissioner of higher education and Pat Williams over reacted to a reporter's misleading stories and forced Engtrom to overreact. Phlu did not cause the U millions. Over-reaction did!!!

So, Yes I would take Phlu back in a heart beat.

What is being experience right now...which in the past you have not had to deal with...is the residue of the sudden changes from this spring. We came to this program as a family because this is the best traditional FCS program in the nation. Winning legacy, championship pedigree & national championship caliber on a regular basis.

Theres no coach in American that can "control" what others do off the field. The culture of Missoula is a party lumber & outdoors town (grew up in one)...add 8 months of young college students away from mom & dad for the first time and the rest is headlines & scandal.

Put your big boy & girl pants on and wade on into the water with the real believers(like us parents of players)...Get behind these young men. They need you, they are in rough water and the leadership around them is too.

There's four things I hope my son to gain this year. Health, growth, wisdom & opportunity. So far he's on track. THIS frosh/soph class will win several BSC championships & will play for a national title before the end of 2014!

These are the growing pains of the new generation of Griz football...
Stop looking to blame. Adapt & move forward or be left behind!

Time for the fair weather fans to find a new team. Some of us have seen far worse Griz teams than this, and we're still here supporting the team. If you can't handle a rebuilding year, then move along. We don't need you, the program doesn't need you, and we will be just fine without you.

I don't think you are going to find any fair weather fans on egriz....just a hunch that most on here are fanatics.

Not one is leaving the Griz camp. It is a valid complaint that a coach way down the food chain became the head coach during a turbulent period. We expect excellence and we are not getting it from our head man. Pure and simple. It is OK to blame......but it all falls on the head man, like it or not.

I love the Griz and all the players. In the end.......we saw a horrid display of coaching today. Fault all the bastards that caused this but down the road we will be good.

Calm down, we will come back. Yeah, Go Da Griz!
