Reasons why the Griz could win today

I am going to put on the moron glasses and find some reasons for hope in the dome

COMPARED SCORES: 2 common opponents
Both played South Dakota and both won by 17 points
Both played at Indiana State and the Griz won by 35, UDSU won by 5

NDSU is over confident... the fans sure are. Not even close to a sellout in Fargo

NDSU Best players wont be playing Hunter Laupke (RB) and a couple of linemen and a NFL prospect at TE Grindorf will not play.

Cam Miller (QB) is good but no where near what the Bison has had in the past.

UM has 4 loses all to top 10ish teams. 3 of the 4 were 7 points or less.

NDSU is not nearly as good as a team as they have been struggled vs Youngstown St, vs Indiana State and Southern Illinois.

NDSU is suspect on special teams... UM advantage

Lucas Johnson, (except against the kittens) when he plays UM is a MUCH better team.

UM has nothing to lose, they should play loose as no one expects them to win

If UM plays 4 solid quarters they can beat anyone in the FCS

The Griz win vs SEMO has the Griz players believing they can win at NDSU

Like I posted...glasses firmly on, BUT...
There is a lot of reasons to have hope, cant wait to see which Griz team shows up today!

I'm curious why you think the players believe they can beat NDSU?

It was a near perfect comeback... just feel like the team believes in themselves way more than others do. A team that believes is usually better than a team with history on thier side.

The 1st quarter will be the tell on this. Is UM ahead or even? or down by 14?

If the Bison starters spontaneously collapse on the field and can’t play again, I think we got a shot.

I think if our offensive coaching staff stayed home we would have a better chance.

Yeah, the design of our offense will limit our success against NDSU. Anyone watching our running game (lack of) the entire season has got to be concerned today against a solid defensive team. We can't have another one of those games where we rush for 20 yards at halftime.
I just hope we can make changes in our O-coordinator and O-line coaches next year, to become a true duel-threat offense.

What if we only run the ball once for 20 yards, and throw for 350 yards and 4 td's the first half?

Do we give the points back because we only ran for 20 yards?

Griz averaged 4.4 per carry, the same as Weber. Tied for 3d in rushing TD’s. Griz rushing game was fine or better overall.
