Oh, no problem! You need only ask, my friend.

Rush Reimer and Omar Aigbedion are the starting guards at MSU. Reimer is a junior who moved inside from tackle. Aigbedion is a sophomore. His last name is African, not an incantation from a children's book.

Glad I could help.

We shall see how a one dimensional run first offense works this next weekend. Didn’t work to well last year when the Cats played in South Dakota. Not sure it will this year either. Griz have a great schedule. Need to capitalize on it while the Cats have a tough road schedule this year. Injuries can always play a factor for any team. This season is going to be interesting and the first week told us ZERO!

Mehhhhh, not so fast… I think the first week told us a little. Nice try though.

That's right. I forgot Vegan had to call plays because your OC was serving his ridiculous one game suspension for his felony hit and run, destruction of evidence and lying to the police.

I bet the WAAC bubs will be glad to have him back, huh?

You seem stressed.

Anything but. However is I were to be, do you recommend the Bub Assistant Method of relaxation? I won't drive after because, you know, I'm a responsible man, who holds himself accountable to making good choices.

Consistent with the thread title, “Really”?

Where was this “reported”?

Did Sixxer do a presser or make a statement?

Oh god no. Sixxer isn't about to hold a press "release" (sic). And even if he did, no "reporter" would ask about the criminals on his staff.

Apparently they mentioned it on the broadcast. Someone who watched texted me.

One whole game for crashing a state vehicle while hammered, fleeing the scene, hiding evidence, lying to the police, and involving a subordinate in the scheme to conceal. Seems about right for sixxer and his WAAC program. Seems as tho all bub fans are fine with it as well. Nothing to see here folks (but you may want to stay off the roads).

Let me explain. You know how 97% of the people you meet soon tell you to fuck off? Well, substitute that first letter for the "s" in my initial sentence and perhaps even your 52 IQ brain will understand.

Any bub assistants arrested this weekend?

serious question who is a better play caller vigen or housewright? not a scat fan but I won't be too surprised if scats pull it off. I actually will be more pleasantly surprised if the scats get trounced. regardless of what happens i will be looking forward to playing you guys in mid November.

It’s easily Housewright. He’s much more willing to be creative and take risks.
Kind of an understatement, for sure.

The first letter would be the L in “let’s”. So are you trying to say “iL”? SO again I say what? :)

I agree with this…except this is a non scholarship school that the line should have dominated. I’d say that what someone mentioned in another thread…those snaps may have put the timing juuuuust off enough to make it look bad too. Hard to really know. To me let’s see the improvement into game two…across the board.

What’s with dissing non-scholarship schools? The Ivies are non-scholarship and have teams ranked most years. The Patriot keague used to be non-scholie and often did well.

nonscholarship schools have subpar athletes.

Many of them have terrific athletes. The HERO sports
guy said Harvard has the best recruiting class 2 years in row.

I'm sure they do recruit good nonathletic types. I'm guessing most kids going to an IVE school have other priorities.

If a kid is a good player from Southern California and has some decent academic scholarships would you rather go to Pocatello or Cheney on an athletic scholarship or go to University of San Diego on an academic scholarship? Within 150 miles of San Diego the population is over 22 million. Do a quick check of Indianapolis and within 150 miles there are over 13 million people. You think there are going to be some smart/athletic kids on academic scholarships to bring in? Do I think the Griz played great? Not really. But I think they will be pretty good. And btw the Butler QB was a total stud. He really might be the best passer the Griz see all year. Look back at his stats all the way back to high school. I would guess he was overlooked because he is 5"10"

I kind of have to respect a guy that's so consistently and confidently wrong all the time and still continues on.

This guy comes to mind. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Bakhtiari
He's a good friend of one of my best friends who went to USD with him. My buddy was an All-CIF DB with offers from a lot of FCS schools. He had good grades and got to go to USD on a scholarship instead of having to go to Cheney or Pocatello to get the "athletic scholarship". He ended up getting hurt, but I don't think he regrets his decision to go to school for free at USD and give it a shot.

Aside: I think I've told it before, but his shining moment in HS was that his track team beat Helix HS in the 4x100 relay his senior year. He was the anchor, and Helix's anchor was a guy named Reggie Bush. The way he tells it, he was like 1/3 of a lap ahead when he got the baton and won by about a meter.

Agreed.

For me, the difference is somewhat akin to the gap between FCS and FBS. The top FCS programs generally have a fair number of players who could compete for spots on a good FBS team ... and even start. (Just look at the transfer portal.) But, as has been noted many time before, they don't have the depth. The 2's and 3's on most FCS rosters are not quite there. That's why you see FCS teams hang with FBS opponents to start out, but basically wear down later. "Nonscholarship" programs also have a fair number of players who could compete at the FCS level (or even FBS, in some cases). But, again, they just don't have the depth.

That is awesome. Like I said before the Griz didn’t play a great game but if you were in the crowd you had to come away appreciating some of the plays Butler made. Especially in the passing game. Actually really good coverage and just great throws, routes and catches. It was good football.
