Ok. When Wayne announced he was off to OSU, And Jamar was gone, If somebody had said the 2014-15 Griz would be regular season champions, host the BSC tourney and barely lose the chipper in front of a real Zoo type crowd with a hot blooded new coach and a full cupboard of new talent in the pipeline. Yeah. I'll take that.

Good post BG! We all would have taken a toss up championship at home after winning the regular season and locking down an nit bid.

And yes. It's still a GREAT day to be a GRIZZLY!!!
 
Add in also losing our starting PG DeShields to transfer, being down one scholarship (Martin), and losing a big contributor and player who had begun starting to academics and this season went a LOT better than I'm sure most everyone expected.

DeCuire did a hell of a job with this team & they made some big improvements as the season went on.

Hopefully Krslovic will be healthy by the time the NIT game rolls around. Maybe we can make some noise in that!

No kidding. And even after the early part of the season, I saw no way UM would contend for the conference championship early on. And then Edmunds, who moved into the starting lineup, became ineligible. I doubt that the coaches saw this possibility early on either, but don't know that. Only after UM starting winning most conference games, and no other team, except maybe EWU, emerged as absolutely the creme of the corp.
 
Yeah, like I have mentioned many times we were lucky to get Travis to coach our team. Of course he will move on in a few years (I hope 10+) but we will become a better talented team as time goes on and will always do great things and make us proud to be Griz fans. Thanks to all the team players and coaches as they did an excellent job this season with more to come.

I was there then and I too was impressed with the student section.
