Good luck to this young man, he has already lost a lot! Book smarts are not the same as street smarts! And pick a different path in your life journey. :thumb: jcu I would 420 with you anytime as long as you are over 21!

Haha, too bad im 19, i'll be 20 in October so like a year and 4 months away from 21. However you'll be the one missing out on the dankness haha..J/k i'm sure you can find plenty of dank in Missoula. It's weird in MT most the bud there I had was skunk bud and once in awhile it was fruit, but down here in the south it's either fruity or kinda chemically smelling. I sure do miss that good ol' skunk though.

Yeah and I make a lot of people look stupid on here, even though they still think they are right and there little brainwashed friends. It's sad to see so many folks with their heads in the gutter because of the government. Atleast I can think for myself. BTW everyone I meet always goes on about how smart I am. I bet everyone you know goes on about how dumb you are.

holy crap! it's amazing how crazy these threads can get!

it's not about what this kid did. like pot, hate pot, think it's the devil, think it's gods gift....it doesn't matter. it IS a big deal when you do something that causes you to lose a college scholarship, and face time in jail. the guy is a complete moron. not because he smokes weed. i know a ton of people who smoke week...many of which are pretty bright. he's a moron because he can't figure out how to do stuff privately....and not allow it to effect his football or school. you think no one on the cats, griz, or any other college team in the country smokes pot?! a ton of them do. and a ton of them are smart enough to do so without anyone knowing. it's the idiots that get caught using, buying, selling etc. that are complete morons.

not all of our consequences are the same for doing the same stupid thing. so when a guy with a LOT to lose acts like an idiot.....he is way stupider than the guy sitting in his apartment getting blazed and explaining how hundreds dead in a tornado is worse than thousands dead in a tsunami.....and how those tsunami victims are idiots because they could have just gotten in a boat.....

i don't see alot of people supporting him. a lot are supporting mj and thinking a felony is too harsh, etc. hardly anyone has a problem with him getting kicked off the team and eveyone thinks he did some stupid stuff, like not looking up a pot brownie recipe on the internet first. but, ya know, hey thanks for pointing absolutely nothing out to us. oh, i see you're a cat grad, now your post makes sense.

thanks. but if no one is supporting him (some are by the way) and these 11 or so pages are strictly about marajuana and its legal implications.....then why is it in the football thread? seems like you could argue whether or not drug laws are fair in another, more fitting thread. i was just pointing out that it doesnt matter what law was broken, the kid proved he's an idiot. i'm normally against jail time for certain drug crimes like this....but for this kid, maybe a little time is just what he and his mother need....

thanks for the words though. :thumb:

I agree with this post and the last one aswell. I suppose not many actually got what I was trying to get through to people. It wasn't about marijuana's laws, it was about how unfair people are treating this kid vs Nate Montana. Imo Nate Montana is the bigger idiot though. Anyways Thomas is clearly an idiot to if he didn't try to hide that he does that, being a football player and all.

just f'n with ya a little there with the cat grad stuff. you're a pretty good poster actually. so is playerrep, but i get under his skin, too. I agree this belongs in a different thread. the kid has nothing to do with fcs ball now.

as for his mom she could just be stupid or have a mental health issue or he could actually be very sneaky or maybe he actually doesn't use weed. wouldn't be the first time a parent didn't have a clue their kid was doing drugs or a kid fooled their parent, would it? back when i didn't smoke weed i used hang out with people that did, so being in car with others smoking weed isn't all that out of the ordinary, which might be why she defended him and sued or whatever. ya never know. its gonna be kind of hard to convince anyone he made and sold brownies as a favor to his friends though. he just charged them for the labor. anyone know what the prevailing wage rates are for pot brownie baker are?

no doubt montana's crime is much worse. he was caught behind the wheel driving in the dark. thomas and the others weren't in a position like that. but then again i don't think dui is all that big of a deal either, unless you actually hurt someone. weed, beer, caffeine, nicotine just aren't the same as crack, crank, coke, heroin.

I disagree. First, there's no evidence known to us that Montana was over the DUI. One officer stopped him for speeding (not driving erratically or dangerously), going about 35, and cited him for DUI when Montana refused the breathalyzer. We may or may not see what the evidence/facts are, and will certainly find out whether the prosecutor thinks he/she has enough evidence to convict him or force into into a DUI per se plea. Without a breath test, and other erratic behavior on tape, there may not be much evidence to support a DUI. What if his friends say he wasn't drinking or wasn't drinking much, or hadn't been drinking for hours? Thomas clearly endangered his friends much more than Montana endangered anyone--unless he was completely drunk, like .15 or above. Look up the stats on accidents/deaths caused by people who were drinking. The bulk of the bad accidents and deaths come from people who were about double the limit or higher.

I thought jcu said he was unemployed? You would think a man of his superior intellect would have potential employers beating down his door??? WTF?

Oh yeah, he can't pass a drug test

oh alright already. maybe montana wasn't even drinking that night/morning, but driving drunk is worse than being stoned and hanging out at a senior all night party. his friends weren't in any real danger, they were just freaked out from being way more stoned than they had ever been before. and none of them got in a car and drove. you're a real beauty pr, you make me laugh. i'm not out to get montana. as i said i don't think anyone should lose a job or scholarship over either.

I'm no lawyer, but I think an assault can be rendered mentally, not just physically. An assault is traditionally defined as, basically, hitting the body of another, whether with fists, bludgeons, etc. But, it seems to me that Thomas assaulted his classmates by inserting weed into the brownies. He assaulted their brains in this case, without their consent. I'd say the victims have a case against Thomas for mental assault. IMO. And, I don't mean mental, verbal, abuse.

really? you're not a lawyer?

ok. does this mean i have a case against my bartender and anyone i've bought any product from that didn't work the way i thought it would. i wonder if these guys even threw up, i doubt it.

Well, maybe you would. If he/she served you a drink or other item that you didn't know would harm you, and you had to go to the hospital because of it, you might have a case against that bartender. These victims thought they were eating normal brownies, but they were deceived. Had they been told beforehand what was in the brownies, then anyone eating them assumed the risk. But that was not the case, here, far as I know. It was a prank gone bad, with serious consequences for Thomas.

i could be wrong as i didn't read much about this whole debacle...but didn't the report say the kids paid $15 for each brownie? if so...and these kids really just thought they were buying regular brownies...they may in fact be stupider than thomas.

what the hell do they teach in schools in kalispell?

hahahaha. yeah, a 6-4, 270lb male classmate bakes brownies and brings them to the senior party. duh happens all the time. i don't care if he's giving them away you aren't going to take one because you probably know you had food provided.

This is news to me....I do have a job and I only had one drug test and that was before I got hired, I was also clean at the time. I'm not going to try and get a job when my piss is dirty lol.. They only randomly drug test people if they act or seem like they are on something. You have quite the delusions just like PlayaRape, Growler, and d2..
