We keep churning the same coaching pool, now it is a puddle, and we are catching the same fish. Stitt would be a fresh face to Montana and retain key coaches on staff important to recruits.

Hauck is an asshole and we don’t need another go around with that.

Plus I don’t think Hauck would be successful in today’s BSC. The expanded BSC is more competitive than before, and Bobby’s recent record at UNLV (15-48) demonstrates he is not the coach many believe him to be.

I’d take Delaney out of retirement before I would want Bobby back.

First off Bobby is not an asshole. Do you even know him personally? He's an intense hard nose guy but he is also more personable and likeable then people realize who don't know him. His family are terrific people and die hard Griz fans. Dont spout off sht that you know nothing about. One of the main reasons he left here was because some me fans were never satisfied always harping on him. How many times have we been back to the title game since he left? How many BSC championships have we won since then?

I have met Bobby and consider him a selfish asshole. I know people that know him well and consider him an asshole. You are right that his family are/were terrific (at least his brother Tim and his Dad, Bobby Sr., both of whom I met). I don’t know what happened to Bobby to create such arrogance (?). His Dad and brother were/are not at all like that.

I think Hauck would have little hope of reproducing his earlier Griz coaching record in today’s enlarged and more competitive BSC. His record at UNLV of losing 48 out of 63 games speaks for itself. Griz can do much better.

apparently he should do a better job when meeting someone and not save it until he knows them...
 
I like Stitt and think his offense would be exciting to have here at UM... but after watching the video I just think he's too focused on getting to a big FBS program as quickly as he can... Bobby is here for the long-haul and he's won at this level before. #BBB (Bring Bobby Back) (wouldn't mind Pease either but he didn't seem very exciting in that video and right now we need fire in a coach that wants to be here... facilities, recruits, coach... championship.
 
Funny thing is with Stitt most of our opponents (fans) are laughing that he is one of the finalists. They think he is a nobody.

I must admit I didn't know a lot about him until his name came up on our list. I think he would be a good get and games would be exciting to watch.

If he ends up here I have a funny feeling our opponents (fans) won't be laughing so much in a couple years.

If the BSC is more competitive today, it's because we came back to the pack, not because it's bigger.

The big sky isn't better, the griz aren't what they used to be. Thats all there is to it! There was a time when the griz would have throttled the EWU team that took the field today, and now the team that was just embarrassed at home has kicked our ass not once, or even twice, but 4 GD times in a row.
 
Brent Pease would be a good get. So would Bobby and Stitt. Three very good choices.
Unfortunate for all the chatter last night. Oh well I'm sure next week at this time we will have a new coach and moving forward.
 
Pease is the best fit :thumb: At first I thought Bobby would be the best choice but all things considered Brent Pease is a very very good choice. Best hire available IMO.
 
I'm going to say if Stitt is hired, I hope that he keeps Justin Green. Hope Justin spends hours and hours in that playbook, learns the offense, then when Stitt bolts, JG becomes offensive coordinator using the similar offense (as long as it works, that is).
