Yes, you did. I’m clearly saying not being able to win the BSC, going 2-8 vs MSU and being out-recruited by them in the state of Montana is definitely not dominance. Have you ever heard Bobby say it was?
No, I didn't. You are wrong. This is what I said: "Hauck has returned UM to dominance, pretty close to where it was when he was at UM last time."

I communicate with Bobby frequently. I know what he thinks. Dominance is not defined by a few things. You have to look at 10 or more things. You don't even know Hauck. You have no idea what you are talking about. You have a big mouth hidden behind a keyboard, and nothing else. ZERO.

I just feel like we can divide egriz into two camps - those who are frustrated with the current status quo and believe that some significant changes need to be made in order to get the team over the hump in order to be able to beat the cats consistently, win BSC championships and contend for a national championship on a regular basis, and those who think everything is perfectly okay because we won some games and were "so close" to beating the cats this year.
It's not that black and white. There is another (more astute) camp, capable of recognizing improvements that need to be made, but has enough confidence in the existing staff that a complete teardown of the FB staff, the AD and the administration is not only unnecessary, but would be destructive.

Which part of the argument are you referring to? Comparing the yards gained by each team and specifically runs yards gained of each team and it looks like ISU won the game. This means the defense was not why they lost to MSU and MSU did run over all over their defense. The average weight of their 3 man front in the 3-3-5 is 285 pounds with 2 of the 3 over 100 pounds. I don’t believe UM had anyone over 300 pounds playing. I could be wrong there please correct me if UM did.
ISU ran all over the cat D. The cat D could not stop an ISU drive and get themselves off the field. ISU handed them the win on a silver platter with a very poor 4th down decision and very poor ST execution. A gifted NC if there ever was one.

ISU also stopped the Cat's run game with the 3-3-5.

Nobody but nobody said that. I said criticizing the team, coaches and AD when they have had a terrific season makes you wrong, and a bad fan. Stick to what was said. You are a horrible fan and have been the whole time you have posted on egriz. Live with it. It's who you are.
I was raised in Missoula, family had season tickets, got my degree from UofM, go to the games I can make, and root for all Grizzlies. Criticizing a team you root for doesn't make anyone a "bad fan". But if you're going to throw insults around, you are an old man who shills for mediocrity. You are a bad fan because you see no reason for the school and team to get better. You are outdated and your schtick is tiring for everyone on here. Keep my name out your mouth.

I can definitely appreciate that, I guess my question is what is it going to take? What changes can and will be made that will propel the team forward to where they need to be without an overhaul of staff? I realize others have called to fire the AD and the administration, that is not my take. I'm not entirely sure that Bobby needs to go either, although his results in his second tenure have not lived up to expectations at all, and yes him leaving could be terrible or it might turn out great. Other programs have replaced head coaches and have improved significantly, IE the cats. I realize many will disagree with me, especially those like hoops, but I don't care how many games we win every year if we can't beat the cats and we can't win the big sky and we can't make it to a natty. How many years is it going to take this staff to reach these goals? Is it even possible? I'm not sure it is. Which is why other posts I have said that I am trying to temper my expectations because I'm either continually angry or continually disappointed, and neither are healthy.

All that to say, why do you have so much confidence that the staff can actually reach these goals? The results over the past 7 years haven't borne any of it out (aside from one year).

How many years might be dependent on how many years Vigen is in Bozeman, which might only be 1, considering his interest in FBS positions.

Maybe. But pinning your hopes on other teams regressing due to players leaving or coaches leaving is not a plan for long-term success. That other team can always hire a better coach, get better players, and improve themselves. Which we've seen them do quite well.

Look at what the Seahawks wound up doing with Pete Carroll. Yeah, Pete had a winning record, stadium still sold out and they sell a lot of merch.

But it became apparent that he had reached his peak. Was stubborn, loyal to a fault to bad staff and still wanted to win games by using an outdated strategy. Eventually he could no longer beat their rival or compete with the younger, more innovative staffs of their NFC West rivals.

So Schneider fired Pete and looked to replicate the Rams model for success. They hired Mike McDonald (basically the defensive McVeigh) and in year two beat their rival, on the road, to win the division and get the #1 seed. That’s what actual RTD looks like Hooopzzz.

I really don't follow the NFL at all, so a lot of what you're talking about I just have no idea about, but it really sounds quite familiar for some reason. 🤔

No, I didn't say that. I said the Griz returned to dominance, like they had been when Bobby was first at UM, several years ago. That's why he stopped saying RTD. Dominance means getting towards the top and near the top most every year, but doesn't mean winning the championship every year.

Are you saying 13-2, semis, 2 losses to the eventual national championship team, ranked no. 3 in the nation is a bad season?
Yes

No, I didn't. You are wrong. This is what I said: "Hauck has returned UM to dominance, pretty close to where it was when he was at UM last time."

I communicate with Bobby frequently. I know what he thinks. Dominance is not defined by a few things. You have to look at 10 or more things. You don't even know Hauck. You have no idea what you are talking about. You have a big mouth hidden behind a keyboard, and nothing else. ZERO.
Well that’s good. As long as in Bobby’s mind we’re discussing the semantics of dominance the fans should be happy. We have returned to where we should be. Bobby and Hoops have their dictionary’s out. We have achieved at least 10 forms of dominance.

Everyone needs to stop worrying about winning championships now. It’s been handled.

All time banger from Hoops. Don’t worry, we have actually returned to dominance. Not based off of Bobby’s public criteria for success, but instead his top secret success algorithm that he only shares with Hoops.

You are a BAD fan. My dad played for the Griz. You and your family didn’t. I am not old at all. In the prime of my life and having a great time. Know football and played it. I support the team. You are a loser. Don’t know the game. Never played it. Happy to meet to discuss anytime. You would be afraid. You are a little pussy behind a keyboard. Tell us your name.

Jack, why you always inviting people to meet up with you? Was your “invitation” this aggressive when you coerced those cheerleaders to come back your room and “party”?

The Harvey Weinstein of egriz lol.

Your dad played for the Griz? Nobody cares. Irrelevant information.

I would be happy to tell all of your hide-behind-the-keyboard pussies what I think of you to your faces. You are afraid. Won't divulge who you are.

My 10 year old son knocked on the cheer squad's doors and got them to come. It was the Anderson family's rooms, not mine. My son was paid to do so by some of the people at the party. He knew some of the cheerleaders. They used to come to our box during halftime of Griz games.

Why are using using my name? You are a creepy stalker. Tell us who you are, you little pussy.

You brought your 10 year old to “party”? This just keeps getting better.

So you’re saying Bobby is “pretty close” to dominance? He has the second best team in the state Montana as far as winning and in-state recruiting but he’s close. Got it, genius.
