I think Rachi Wortham's return to Missoula as a GRIZ assistant after serving successful 5 years as the head coach of Tacoma Community College where his teams won almost 60 % of their games plus serving as The Director of Player Personnel for Wayne Tinkle @ Oregon State is a BFD, and I am not talking Billings Fire Department : ) !!!
Having played AAU ball for Travis 30 years ago in Tacoma, having served as a GRIZ assistant on the most successful GRIZ teams in recent history, the back-to-back GRIZ BSC Champion and NCAA tourney teams of 2018-19, and having been back in Tacoma and Seattle for the past 5 years in the area where both he and Travis grew up, and where Rachi better than anyone, even Travis, knows who's who in the basketball zoo in the biggest metro area within the GRIZ traditional recruiting region, Rachi brings a lot of successful recruiting and basketball
knowledge back for his sequel in Missoula, which I think could potentially be even better than his first tour of duty !!!
November is still five months away, but I can't wait for our GRIZ hoopsters to lace them up, now even more so with another great assistant on our bench !!!
