Quiet in Sections 121 and 122

So many fans in sections 121 and 122 just sitting and watching the game. Especially in the 2nd half. It was so quiet.
I tried to get the crowd to stand and yell while we were on defense but so many just sat there watching.
For me, the whole idea of attending games in Washington Grizzly stadium is to stand, yell, and go crazy while the Griz are playing defense.

The Heat, My God The HEAT

Next time, rev up their engins & pass around a couple bottles of Geritol.

...gonna be rough...

We see in section 121 and it was plenty loud at the start of the game. Don’t think it needed to be as loud and rowdy as the score started to stretch. In our section there is a lot of corporate tickets too for the first game so that usually dictates the crowd. Being smoky and hot had a lot to do with it. This wasn’t the NDSU game with Musburger calling the game, but a southland cellar dweller that barely crossed the 50. Just like last year the game day experience wasn’t hitting its stride yet.

It is usually plenty engaged and rowdy around us and I don’t anticipate it being a problem moving forward.

Even the NW corner was quiet in the second half which isn't surprising considering the score and the heat.

My wife and I sit in 121 and I agree it was quieter than usual. New folks around us that are not nearly as loud as those from last year. I think the game this week will bring out the noise.

I read something somewhere maybe a couple days ago that someone in the NEZ was called by the fun police in the Adam's Center because they stood too much and their new seat neighbors reported them. Maybe it was a Griz Fan group or something. I don't remember. What kind of stupid is all of this? It is a sporting event. Stand and cheer when appropriate. Sit when it is not. If you are there to sit and watch a game...it is called a television.
