Questions for head coach Bobby Kennedy on the GFP

Damn I'm LATE!!!

James, counting BK, how many head coaches have you had in your kitchen?

Coach, no questions, just a warm welcome from GRIZ fans in the Seattle area. There's a huge contingent of passionate fans and alumni here.

Okay, I lied; one question: What's your favorite restaurant in Missoula, Coach? (sure it's a blatant rip off of Ace's show, but he ain't here now, is he?)

Affable, genuine, honest, experienced. He seems like a breath of fresh air who likes the history but not afraid to put his fingerprint on the program. He’s not trying to reinvent the wheel.

Got to meet him after the basketball game on Saturday. He made time to stop after I pointed him out to my wife, said hi, asked our names. Made a couple statements that left me impressed. Said we will be successful.

Regardless of the circumstances and timing this seems to be a positive for the program and I’ll support as much as I can. I don’t think we will know for sure until we see him handle adversity and pressure in this position, but he is definitely sharing the load with the work and giving exposure to many that deserve it.

I know the podcast is finished, but if you ever get a chance to talk to BK again I would love if you ask him about his policy on the transfer portal. Like if one of our players wanted to enter the portal after the season. Does that player get to come back to the team if he changes his mind or is it sayonara for good once they enter. Or will he allow players to test the portal and if it doesn't work then they can always come back? I've always been curious about how each coach handles this.
