1. Is it legal to use your elbow/forearm to push the offensive player away from the key like this?

2. Regardless of whether it's legal, what's it supposed to accomplish beyond physically grinding down the offensive player?

As an expert, I would say that drinking and driving is more illegal than playing defense with your forearm.
