I have a question. We all know that Cat fans love to claim they've won 3 national championships, but their first national championship ended in a 0-0 draw. So technically, they've only won 2. But then they come back and say "the record books show each team was given a share of the title" so it counts as a win. So if their tie counts as a win, then shouldn't our series record against State should be improved to 79-42? Because our 5 ties apparently count as wins for both teams.
So my question is, does anyone know if the NCAA actually counts ties as wins? Or are Cat fans just grabbing on to anything that makes them feel better about their program when comparing it to UM's program?
