Question About Griz-cat Tix

A buddy and I are flying to Montana for Griz-cat but don't have tickets for the game...what's the likelihood that I can get my hands on a pair of tickets outside reno sales stadium :?:

Much will depend on weather. 3 years ago in missoula when kickoff temp was -16 there were tons of tickets for sale for cheap.

Ive always had no problem finding one on gameday.

-16, no. Where do people get this? It was around 18-20 degrees throughout the whole game.

I DVR'd the game and watched it when I got home. The tv announcers said the windchill was -16 at kickoff. I don't know the exact temp, but it was damn cold and damn windy, so I would suspect the tv announcers weren't too far off.

Apologies then. I remember it being cold but specifics fade over the years. I do remember the wind being brutal, so it must have dropped the actual temperature quite a bit since the actual temp, no wind chill, didn't drop below 10.

The cold almost seems like a perspective. I was at the App State playoff game in 2009, and that was a cold game with the blizzard going on. But being in the student section packed in, I didn't even notice how cold it was, and actually it was pretty warm. But I can imagine how cold it may have been in parts of the stadium where the wind was whipping around.

Agreed. I've never really been cold in the student section because you're always moving.

The coldest games I've ever been at are the Cat game in 2010 and the Delaware play-off game in the mid-90s. I only notice the cold at games the Griz lose.

This! I think the air temperature was below zero that day, wasn't it? Our defense couldn't stop the Wing-T that day, and theirs couldn't stop Dave at the controls of Air Read.

Yeah, I think it was something like -2 degrees at game time.

I believe the Delaware game was in 93 and it was definitely the coldest in my opinion. The temp without the wind chill did not get above zero from what I remember.

Why do you make things up, Raider? I checked the high temperatures for the last 10 Christmases, and they were: 24, 41, 20, 23, 28, 34, 38, 35, 33 and 33.* Why do you have to lie? Your opinion is just wrong. You must be a correct temperature hater. Jeez.

It wasn't that cold. And yes, I wore shorts to that game!
