No doubt UM has a good receiving corp, but how do you think they compare to the receivers from the team 200 miles to the west of Missoula?IntuitiveGriz said:This news piece was almost as good as my last christmas card: good stuff

I am really impressed with the WRs. This is as good-looking (eye test) of a corps as I have ever seen at UM. They have big, strong guys inside guys (small TE's)...and they have tall fast out-side guys on both sides (split-ends)...and they have short, quick guys (flankers) on the inside. All four spots look like a FBS team, two-deep. With the 3rd sting freshman looking like future studs. This is officially Receiver U :!: ![]()

I'm not sure what your point is here. I admit that I take jabs at egriz. Most of the time it is to see how fast CDAGRIZ responds with some supposedly witty response. I agreed you had a good receiving corp and have been a fan of E. Henderson since seeing him as a freshman at Roos field. So Umista, let the blood pressure drop and enjoy the moment.Umista said:How far down the drain has Golden eagle dropped? We mind our own business and few troll on the dead eagle area. Smells squeeks and squawks! Write about objectivity....and keep your problems West of Wa Griz!

Deeper for sure. Kupp is a great player, perhaps the best in the league. But if Henderson can stay healthy, the Griz will have the best receiving group in the conference, and perhaps the nation.

We're good at WR, but the Eagles returning starters caught 208 for 3001 yards and 31 tds last year. That's an average of 70-1000-10 per man. Even if you include hendersons numbers from 2013 our top three had just 125 for 2309 and 25. Those should go up under Stitt, but give EWU their due.GoldenEagle said:EverettGriz said:GoldenEagle said:No doubt UM has a good receiving corp, but how do you think they compare to the receivers from the team 200 miles to the west of Missoula?IntuitiveGriz said:This news piece was almost as good as my last christmas card: good stuff

I don't know about depth, maybe you are correct. How about starters. Let's use an empty backfield example, the EAGS line up Kendrick Bourne (6'3"), Cooper Kupp (6'2") Terrence Grady (6'5") Shaq Hill (5'10") and Nic Speldorio (6'0"). All have game experience and with only one senior being Shaq Hill.
