TV broadcast showed quite a few times him getting after Simis on failed conversions.

There's a way to do that and not make your QB hesitant and gun-shy.BWahlberg said:TV broadcast showed quite a few times him getting after Simis on failed conversions.AZGrizFan said:Were people watching a different feed than was available on eversports? Have to agree. We have watched a lot of FCS games this season (they're out there if you look for them). We have seen damn few teams that do not have weakness ... and sometimes major weaknesses. There's some great talent out there, no doubt about that, but hardly anybody has what you'd call a "complete" team.jtgriz2 said:If we get in yes...FCS is shallower and expanded playoff field. But I bet 98% of this place thinks we can win it all. "Prepare to win nothing" for the next few years.

I don't think I would play Gus at this point. Heck one quick cut of hit and Gus is back to square one or worse.
If for some crazy reason we make the playoffs, maybe then maybe play Gus. That said I don't think we see Gus on the field again this year.
Next year the QB battle should be wide open come spring ball!

It's no dumber than the "don't run the QB he could get hurt crowd".grizindabox said:Inspector Griz said:Who knows who starts and is the best QB for this team. To bad you could not mesh Simis and Gus in one and have a Utah QB Travis Wilson!

So let me get this straight...if Gus is healthy enough to play you would rather he not because he might get hurt....that is one of the stupidest thing that I have ever heard...
