I just have a hard time believing people that constantly bash the program. When people do that, you come off as just trying to stir the pot. I definitely ate a lot of crow. However, most you would seem a lot more credible if you ever said anything positive about the griz. Having this kind of negatively close to the program, is concerning. The staff and players obviously need to be a lot more secretive especially with shit talking loud mouths that are running around talking crap about the program any chance they get. I assure you that it is YOU who are in the minority here, not me, supporting Bobby Hauck's staff. And egriz is NOT reflective of the majority of Griz Nation. There are many more Hauck/staff supporters on here than in the general Griz Nation population. The reason being that many egriz posters are members of the QB Club, and are Hauck supporters, hanging on his every excuse for the previous loss. They support him because they feel like he is their buddy.

So, I am not here to gain credibility with you, Kem, or any other Hauck supporter. I am here to discuss football. I would never state that a player was entering the portal unless I knew that for certain. And in the case of Britt, I did know right after the SEMO game.

I have been very supportive of the Griz players, and even asked a poster to stop slamming Kris Brown and Britt. I think I add quite a bit of football related topics to the board. But make no mistake about it, I desire changes in our coaching staff, and I am far from being the Lone Ranger here. If think that is being negative to you, then so be it.

The program is in 20x better shape than it was with the last 2 coaches... I guess I don't understand, why you hate this staff so much... some bad luck went our way this year. Close loss to Sac st in OT with 2nd string Brown playing and was decided by a horrible officiating call. Weber, another top team barely squeaked by us, with Brown starting as well. We got throttled against MSU and NDSU. If a little luck would have came our way everyone would be singing praises.

There was so many Bobby haters going off before he even coached his first game back. Bobby is the damn epitome of Griz football. Him and his family represent what Griz football is. I don't know how anyone could hate on him. Now, Rosenbauch and Germer, I can understand. Neither has done much for this program, ever. And if the rumors are true, we might be witnessing the griz rise to the top next year. My spirits are high. I feel really good about this team, even if rumors are false.


I can't seem to comprehend how someone can hate on the whole staff and everything griz football is about and then claim to be a fan. BH is the ultimate Montanan. He's not some transplant. He's a dude with passion that cares more about this program than anyone. He's gonna do what it takes to get us where we are needed. I have no doubt.


Wither stand with the program or hop off the wagon. I've been on the wagon since a baby and I don't ever plan on getting off!

Christ, using your logic if Stitt had had “a little luck thrown his way” he’d still be the coach. He also lost his starting QB every year. It’s the coach’s responsibility to be prepared for the eventuality of injuries—through both having the right personnel and ensuring the development of said personnel. We most decidedly were NOT prepared this season and that falls directly on the head coach.

Wanting the driver of the wagon changed doesn’t mean we want off. It means we want the wagon to take us where he ASSURED us it would when it left the station 5 years ago.

How do you support a program without supporting a program? That's what I'd like to know. It's okay to have expectations. It's crazy to think a program is always going to meet your expectations. We live in an imperfect world, no matter how much you want or think something is perfect, it never will be. Expecting to go to a NC every year, is not realistic, especially for a program that went through all the turmoil the griz have. I've literally had people say to me(after telling them I'm a griz fan) "so you're pro rape?"

The sad thing is, is it wasn't just one time. that shit really hurt the program, big time. And when you have idiots like that saying UM is rape this and rape that, a lot of people will start to shy away because they don't want to be associated with that. The loss of schollys hurt us for many years and we are just getting out of the effects of that. With everything that has happened, we are in a good spot, really. You think NDSU would be the same if they went through that? You think coaches haven't heard this kind of talk to? You think HS coaches don't tell their players about this crap? It hurt the program big time and still is. A lot of coaches wouldn't even want to come to this program because of it. This is reality bro.

I’ll say one thing. You’ve done a fine job of cataloguing all of the excuses. Well done.

I don’t expect to go to the NC every year. I DO expect the Griz to be competitive for them. And improving. And we’re neither, in year FIVE of this coaching tenure. We’re no closer to NDSU now than we were in 2015 when they busrolled us in Fargo under Stitt. Bobby has not had to deal with scholarship losses. STITT had to deal with that. Bobby got to fill those slots almost immediately.

3rd, 4th, 6th. That’s the trend line. I had a boss once who said “once is a dot, twice is a line, three times is a trend”. If that trend makes you happy, terrific for you. If your expectations for this program are so freaking low that you are good with that and have that list of excuses at your disposal, you do you bro. But it doesn’t make me happy and no litany of excuses is gonna make that feeling go away. The only thing that will is for the team to get demonstrably better. And for the coaching to get demonstrably better. And so far? Nada. Sure, there’s individual talent in certain position groups, but Bobby’s failure to adequately address the elephant in the room is glaring.

And until he does, I’ll support the team through maintaining my expectations, not lowering them because the team/program has faced a little adversity.

Exactly. Sometimes certain coaches just can't coach, and I think development of QB recruits shows that to be true in this regard.

While not football, I can think of multiple times when in college, that I was in attendance of professors that could really teach. One particular example was Dr Ralph Fessenden. He had this ability to open your head and simply poor knowledge in. Others, not so much.

I think Bobby can coach and I think he can lead. I think he needs some fresh perspectives on his staff, both for on-field innovation and for how your program relates to recruits. Sounds like maybe it's in the cards.

So, you know a few thousand? A few thousand of your closest friends? You are a comedy act here daily. Hilarious that it takes a Cat fan to give you much-needed prospective on our program. He is right. If a head coach can't win with the recruiting advantages that are here at UM, he can't win anywhere. I guess we found that out about Hauck at UNLV.
