QB transfer?

Plugrad would have love a guy like Britt...coach them up!

How about him in the UIW offense?
Kyler Murray is about to implode an entire franchise because he is a child who doesn’t care at all about winning, his coaches or his teammates. No one can fix that. Not even Pflu. Kyler Murray is a bad guy who only cares about himself. You people thinking you know how to win at Montana are unbelievable.

Here is he good and bad news about recruiting a great high school QB. If we are able to find one, and he excels here at UM, he almost certainly will enter the portal to move-up to an FBS team. NAU and probably Idaho are seeing that happen now. So, while recruiting high school QBs should still be a priority, the stark reality may be that the portal will become the primary avenue for finding a starting QB.

You lost me. Are you saying Britt is a child/bad guy who doesn't care about winning, his coaches, or his teammates? I'm not really understanding the Murray reference.

Please tell me this is not true. I'm literally begging you. That would be unreal to me. Because, yes, Rosey is clueless. I don't know Britt so cannot speak of his "football intelligence", and maybe he is Kyler Murray and needs to study the playbook, but then why recruit him in the first place? His skills? OK, then push him to work harder and learn it, instead of push him out.

Exactly. Sometimes certain coaches just can't coach, and I think development of QB recruits shows that to be true in this regard.

While not football, I can think of multiple times when in college, that I was in attendance of professors that could really teach. One particular example was Dr Ralph Fessenden. He had this ability to open your head and simply poor knowledge in. Others, not so much.

Sorry, couldn't help it. I've had some bad takes myself, so it don't have much room.

Obviously not directed at you. I specifically came back to this thread after seeing Britt left.

I wrote that Britt was leaving right after the SEMO game, and was predictably lambasted by several geniuses on here who refuse to accept the fact that only a couple of posters know what is going down with the football program. I stated that my source was 100% credible, and it was.

I just have a hard time believing people that constantly bash the program. When people do that, you come off as just trying to stir the pot. I definitely ate a lot of crow. However, most you would seem a lot more credible if you ever said anything positive about the griz. Having this kind of negatively close to the program, is concerning. The staff and players obviously need to be a lot more secretive especially with shit talking loud mouths that are running around talking crap about the program any chance they get. When you come off as a troll, it's really hard to take you or anyone else serious.

What this dude said.

Some of us are predicting a drop down qb. And the Griz making the playoffs. And some fans complaining about the OC. You heard it here first.

And before the he entered the portal, we would have a QB who excelled. He would then have the choice, not the requirement, of moving on.

Yeah, I think this is correct. A program can create the environment for a player that makes them want to stay. Doesn't guarantee anything, but they aren't guaranteed to leave either.

No, you just like to label anyone who doesn't support this coaching staff, and wants a change in direction of our program, as being negative. I assure you that it is YOU who are in the minority here, not me, supporting Bobby Hauck's staff. And egriz is NOT reflective of the majority of Griz Nation. There are many more Hauck/staff supporters on here than in the general Griz Nation population. The reason being that many egriz posters are members of the QB Club, and are Hauck supporters, hanging on his every excuse for the previous loss. They support him because they feel like he is their buddy.

So, I am not here to gain credibility with you, Kem, or any other Hauck supporter. I am here to discuss football. I would never state that a player was entering the portal unless I knew that for certain. And in the case of Britt, I did know right after the SEMO game.

I have been very supportive of the Griz players, and even asked a poster to stop slamming Kris Brown and Britt. I think I add quite a bit of football related topics to the board. But make no mistake about it, I desire changes in our coaching staff, and I am far from being the Lone Ranger here. If think that is being negative to you, then so be it.

I agree. But I believe that almost every high school kid who plays college football would desire to play at the FBS level, if he could. I remember a Griz assistant coach stating that every player has the dream of playing in the NFL, as unrealistic as that might be for most. So, if a Griz QB is good enough to enter the portal and sign with an FBS team, I believe most will do so.

I don't recall any valid football comment from you. Ever. Griz Nation overwhelmingly supports Hauck.

Even so, we would then have an FBS level QB who killed it for UM until he transferred to an FBS program. I said it in a different post, but we should embrace that role and maybe even use it as a selling point like JCs used to do for nearly every sport. If what you say is correct, I have to think kids look at how many FCS to FBS transfers a program has. The idea being that we would have the benefit of guys on their way up instead of the opposite. Just a thought.

So you are saying one or two great years from a QB is better than zero great years from a QB? That's wild!
