Q & A with the Stitt

Nice! I love when there is some yellowtail in. If you are really quick you can pound most of a beer while you are dropping your jig (unless one hits on the way down.) My buddy with one from last trip...

Beauty. Looks like a really healthy one. Good fight, I'm betting. Growing up, I thought a rainbow was a battle, then I hit the saltwater.

I know right? First saltwater fish I ever pulled in was a "little" Sierra from the beach. I thought I had a freaking 10 ft shark hooked. Everyone was laughing their ass off when they saw the look on my face after I finally pulled a 24" fish out of the surf and up onto the sand. Here is about the only "non eating" fish we target. Talk about a fight!

Awesome! I've never reeled in a Rooster, but I hear they are a blast to catch. So cool looking.

My bad senor 225 lbs. Very nice. Yellowtail are south.

And north. Unless you mean yellowfin.

I meant yellowtail. Good eats!

Very good. This was yesterday about 5-8 miles offshore. It's December! Not me or my fish.

Nice! Apparently camo is useful in all situations.

I wouldn't have a clue. My buddy has a tackle shops in Cabo and San Jose so he gets us set up with gear pretty well. Likely not one of his reels he sells mostly inshore tackle. All I know is he gets pissed off when I accidentally catch a pelican.

Pretty crazy he had never been to Montana.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy that he is like probably 89% of Americans in that regard.

Yeah ok?? A coach who has been in Colorado or the rocky mountains for last 15 years and hasn't at least passed through this state.. That's pretty crazy. Guess most people I meet in western states have at least driven through MT. Just think it's interesting. Kind of a cool experience for him and his family. Montana is unique...

Wild, right? I can't believe he wouldn't frequent Montana as so many do. He's here now. Maybe that's enough for some.
